Mind-Body Connection
Crystals are neither a solid or a liquid, but rather a flux of silica and oxygen which keeps them in a fluid state of internal motion and flow while preserving the energy of information that it has received from its surroundings, either by natural means, or by intentional programming through human thought and intention, such as I or any other energy healer working with crystals would do.
In today’s society, sadly many of us are unaware of the magnificent details of this connection and most are certainly not taught about it in school or from our parents. But some of us, those we call Emotional or Intuitive Empaths, are born with such capabilities that they without effort absorb and pick up on the energies, thoughts, and feelings of those around them and therefore are forced to explore this extra-sensory avenue of our physical capabilities. I, to my blessing and also to my demise, am one of these people.
If ever as a child you felt out of place, or that you could see, feel or sense things others couldn’t then you are most likely an empath. Now, this can mean different things to different people, and while I believe humans are innately both with sensitivities beyond the 5 physical sense, not everyone stays […]
Let’s face it—arm balances are some of the hardest poses in a yoga class. If you’re like many yoga practitioners who aren’t mad about arm balances, you’re not alone. But once we understand that we are practicing principles in the form of poses, we can let go of trying to make perfect postures and actually […]
For someone who suffered from #fibromyalgia for seven years, it’s odd that I’ve never really written a post about it. It was such a defining moment in my life, and yet, thankfully, I never let it define me. So I’ve been hesitant to write about it. It happened, it changed the course of my life, and I moved on. But if I never had fibromyalgia, I might not be writing this blog about holistic health and healing.
When dieting, what if it’s not just food’s nutritional makeup or the amount of food you consume that matters but your relationship with that food that determines how our bodies will metabolize it? We are talking about your thoughts, feelings and emotions towards the food you eat. It’s referred to as the psychology of eating.
We as coaches and healers can want nothing for the best for clients and do our best to guide our clients through looking at core wounds and of course, this is always painful, but an ever-rewarding process. However, if we get stuck in one area we think is the sole cause of the person no longer progressing, then we tend to fall right back into the same energy and belief that “here” is not okay, and that there will forever be a place we still need to get to in order to be happy.
Wouldn’t you rather be doing this when the December holiday frenzy rolls around? Recently, during a conversation with a friend, I gently suggested that she might feel better if she focused a little more on herself and her own needs rather than on everyone else’s. She looked at me and said “But I think that’s being selfish.” This is such a common reaction and in my opinion downright dangerous. So, here are a baker’s dozen of self-love tips for the holidays. #holidayseason
We cannot interfere with another person’s karma or life process. Reiki can and will only move energy the person is ready to let go of and that in itself is a very personal process. Reiki energy literally will not flow if the person is resisting in any way, or is not ready to release a particular block, if the purpose has not yet been completed, served, etc. as far as it pertains to the person’s life purpose and personal karma.
Healing is an inside job, period. To be healed is to be made whole. To be whole is to be in balance. What you think is the product of what you believe, deep down. Does this mean if I am not healthy, I must blame myself? No, not at all. Change the way you think about your circumstances. Don’t look at them as your enemy, but as an ally giving aid to build your thought life and your imagination.
The liver: Supports almost every organ in the body, regulates levels of most of the main blood chemicals, produces energy by breaking down food into glucose,
helps rid the body of waste and toxins, produces bile to help digest fat, produces many essential amino acids and proteins needed for growth and repair of all bodily tissues and metabolic processes, vital role in fighting infections. The liver is able to regenerate, but extensive damage can impair this function.
