Corporate Controlled Media
CNN, where the term ‘fake news’ was helped coined, has come under fire in recent weeks for propagating misleading news about the elections in Ghana, Africa and attempting a smear campaign against Julian Assange by airing an interview that falsely accused Assange of being a pedophile. They have also recently been caught out using a screenshot from the computer game Fallout 4, stating it illustrated the Russian hacking.
CNN apologized to Assange in a tweet and removed the tweet containing the offensive comments made by ex-Deputy Director of the CIA, Phil Mudd. The CNN New Day statement reads, “An analyst on our air earlier today asserted that Julian Assange was a pedophile, and regrets saying it,” and continues saying, “In fact, CNN has no evidence to support that assertion.”
The U.S. government is now provoking Russia based on something that appears completely fabricated: the unsubstantiated claim that Russia hacked the U.S. election to help Trump win. Because these claims are being circulated minute by minute by the corporate media, they bear some analysis before the world is incinerated on the basis of ignorance, paranoia, and deception.
There is one fundamental issue everyone is missing. The claim is that Russia hacked the election – not by altering voting results – but by making public actual emails from the Clinton campaign and the DNC. In other words, the claim is that the Russian’s swayed the election for Donald Trump by revealing the TRUTH about the Clinton campaign and the TRUTH about the DNC.
With so much vitriol flying in every direction these days about fake news, Russian propaganda, misinfo and disinfo, it’s crucial to acknowledge and understand the fact that there is a definitive science to distorting reality and manufacturing public consent. Many of the deliberate techniques of this form of social mind control are well-documented, having been revealed by industry insiders, experts, and content manufacturers.
