Happiness & Humor
The moment we incarnate we are bombarded with outside stimuli from the physical world that demand our attention and we rightly so give it to learn how to navigate this new environment to ensure our greatest chances for survival. However, it is rare that we are taught that this is not the only place to get your cues in life from. Sure, we often get the good old generic lessons passed down to us like, “always trust your gut” or “follow your heart”, but these cookie-cutter conversation pieces are rarely ever more deeply explored even though they carry some serious hidden gem insights. And this must lead us to wonder are they really understood and communicated from one generation to the next on what it really means to do either?
To have strong, hot passion — in whatever we endeavor to do — is the delectability of living this life. And, o be able to laugh at our fragile mortality and existential situations is pure magic and can be one of the most important exercises in our daily routine. But the two things I think are paramount to living the life extraordinaire are to have a limitless supply of what the Dalai Lama calls necessities of life…
The longer I date someone who is just like me in so many damn ways, but in the ways that matter, my absolute complete and udder opposite, I also learn to embrace those dualistic parts within myself. I learn to recognize and discern between the judgments I surpass as things I am projecting and things that I genuinely am picking up on that he needs my help pointing out that he is simply not aware of.
Many people get stuck at the Mad Hatters Time (and Tea) Guzzling Pity Party for a lifetime not realizing that at any time one can get their Alice on and leave the table to join the path of great adventure again. Are you brave enough to share this with someone who may need to hear it? Do you need to hear it?

That voice is what I’m sure we’ve all heard called before our “inner child”. That raw, un-filtered part of us that so dearly just wants to be loved and accepted as they are. The one that doesn’t want to be told to shut up because they have strange ideas or don’t fit in. The one that perhaps keeps those ideas to themselves now in fear of rejection. The one who’s voice has grown quieter over the years due to the addition of other people’s core beliefs as well as societal conditioning.
The Human Condition How often do we face troubling, irksome, unfortunate, gob-smacking, gut-wrenching, negative situations? A lot? Sometimes? Is it something you fear coming up against? Do you find yourself worrying about potential ‘what if’s’? Whatever the answer — we all experience the downs of life as well as the ups. It’s natural and all part […]
While I understand that to “be” something, you must fit the criteria of what “being” that certain something actually means. But when it comes to Spirituality, who got to decide and why do we all just go along with it? I also get it that with increased self-awareness, intuition, centeredness, connection to Source, the Divine, God or whatever name you prefer to use there comes the draw towards certain activities, types of people and even thoughts, as well as the draw away from certain activities, types of people and again…thoughts. But when we start to invest our own perceptual opinions onto something greater than ourselves; something that is meant to encompass everything and be bias to none (see all in love and everything as connected), to me it seems to not only defeat the purpose, but chip away at what it such an incredibly and personally beautiful experience to each and every one of us.
Fear only has as much power over us as we allow it to. And all fears are dispelled in the same exact way, no matter what they are about and no matter how large or how small. All fears, dissipate when we face them. And that’s not to say that it actually goes away entirely, but when we face the fear it’s POWER over us ceases to exist and therefore the control it had over our lives is no longer.
When we can fully embrace what it feels like in all senses to be the person who has already achieved the goals we set out for ourselves, this is setting the frequencies to match up and pull the experience to you. Think “fake it until you make it”. There’s something in that when we own the energy of our desires; we ultimately do become them.
You see, as humans we all know we make mistakes. Some of us even take a few more times than others to learn our lessons, but the point is we ALL mess up at times, we all over-react, we all lay slave to our emotions, we all let untrue thoughts haunt us and take away our self-worth, and we all judge and judge one another, but what I’ve come to realize is the less I judge and the more I show forgiveness the more I am able to love myself.
