The idea that the latest gas attack in Syria was fabricated by the western military alliance in order to justify intervention in that country clearly outlines how ‘fake’ things are. The activists from the Embassy Protection Collective have been living inside the embassy since 10 April in a bid to protect it from US attempts to seize the facility and hand it over to supporters of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido. The group was invited by the embassy’s Venezuelan diplomats, who were forced to leave US soil.Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro earlier slammed US attempts to seize the property of the country’s embassy, pointing to its “inviolability” under international treaties regulating the activities of diplomatic missions.

It’s no secret that many people believe that Facebook has become a massive tool for censorship. Multiple social media platforms are now banning anything and everything that opposes certain political thoughts or corporate agendas, regardless of how credible it is and how much evidence there is to back up those claims. A lot of news that isn’t really false has simply been labelled as ‘fake news.’ It reminds me of what’s happening with vaccines today, for example, as the mainstream media (which never receives any type of censorship or “fake” labels) never seems to address the concerns and points that are made by multiple vaccine safety advocates, even when those concerns are expressed by scientists and doctors. Instead, mainstream media uses terms like ‘anti-vax conspiracy theorists’ and ‘fake news’ to make their point, while simultaneously influencing the minds of the masses.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a Democratic presidential contender, unveiled a plan Thursday to restructure Puerto Rico’s debt, as the U.S. territory struggles to rebuild its economy.Under her proposal, territories like Puerto Rico would be allowed to “terminate” their debt under certain criteria like a natural disaster, major population loss, or if they are “staggering under overwhelming debt.”
