In a speech at his presidential center in Texas, former President George W. Bush had a huge Freudian slip when he accidentally switched “Ukraine” with “Iraq” in a line meant to criticize Vladimir Putin's “wholly unjustified and brutal invasion.” Here's what he said:

“In contrast, Russian elections are rigged. Political opponents are imprisoned or otherwise eliminated from participating in the electoral process. The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia. The decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq, I mean of the Ukraine. Iraq too. Anyway…”

He essentially admitted that the invasion of Iraq was “wholly unjustified and brutal.”
