See It, Then Be It: The Power of Mindful Visualization

Can You Use Visualization To Help You Get Women?Being 34 weeks pregnant, I’ve been reading as many books as I can on how to stay calm and focused during natural childbirth (which is the plan). What I keep seeing as a common topic amongst every book I pick up is how powerful using visualization techniques can be to literally write the script of your experience.

In other words, we can empower ourselves to trust that our bodies know exactly what to do. And when needed, we can connect and communicate with our baby to focus on cooperative energy as you both work as a team to bring forth life into the world.

“Back in the day” women viewed childbirth in a completely different way from how we currently do in modern times. It was not common to fear the process nor to focus on the pain or the avoidance of said pain. Instead, women were taught what it genuinely is…a natural biological process that our bodies were designed to perform and that there is nothing to fear when you surrender to the process itself.

The understanding of how the energy and emotions brought to the experience can tip the scale one way or another will make all the difference in how painful or joyous the experience will be. And this is where using visualizations can be the perfect tool to guide you through your delivery.

Well-known amongst athletes, martial artists, and those who meditate regularly, visualizations are a valuable tool used to perfect their craft. The simple act of taking your own thoughts through how you want the experience to play out (on a regular basis) literally rewires the brain to be better prepared and to not react in fear when you finally do go through the real experience.

It’s a way to desensitize your brain’s reaction to the experience itself. When the body is fearful, it creates adrenaline and cortisol which increase stress as well as pain. It’s almost like the brain fighting the natural process. As with all spiritual practice, we must remind the mind and the ego that they are not the boss. We, as pure consciousness, run the show, and perhaps we needed to be reminded of that as well.

The technique I’m using for myself is custom-made and honestly, that’s how it should be for us all. We all know what we want and we all have the right to put energy into manifesting exactly that. The closer I get to my delivery date, the more I realize that I can either surrender to the what-if’s and fear the unknown, or realize that I have much more say in how my delivery turns out.

I picture myself in the birthing pool, breathing calmly, and focusing on the mandalas that I created and blessed with personal sigils. There are 3 of them and each is attuned to specific energy I channeled into their intricate designs and vivid colors. The first is PEACE/BREATH, the second is POWER/FOCUS, and the third is PUSH/STRENGTH for each stage of labor and delivery.

My vision is pulling from all of the senses and I can smell the lavender oils in the background while the soothing sounds of Bob Marley take me away while bringing me present to the moment. More connected, more aware, and more prepared to ride the waves of my coming labor.

I’ve only been using this visualization for about 2 weeks now, but I can already feel a shift my uncertainty and need to control everything. I am more at peace with the fact that I may end up having to deliver at the hospital and only getting to labor in the tub rather than give birth. But I am equally balanced in focusing on and drawing my reality the vision I have for my perfect day. Which of course, leaves room for imperfections and provides openness to unexpected change. Norman Vincent Peale Quote: “Affirm it, visualize it, believe it ...

Again, this technique can be used for several purposes, from learning to slow a chattering mind that won’t let you sleep, to becoming a better shot at basketball. When we can proactively take ourselves through the experience, we give our brains the preview of what to expect. Our brains do not know the difference in the reality of our thoughts and as long as we believe something to be true, the brain will as well.

This is such an empowering lesson, at least it was for me. It reminds us that we are not slaves to our emotions, but rather we can learn to work with them and not allow them to force our bodies into a panic when consciously we want peace. When we can remove the fear and act on courage and trust, we give ourselves an almost as great of a gift as motherhood. And that is the ability to connect with this life-changing experience in a way that is all our own…lead by love and grace.

Eating To Boost Your Immunity According to Your Main Chakra

By Cyndi Dale

Our immune system is like the Holy Grail for our health and happiness. That’s because about 80 percent of our immune health is linked to our microbiome or the “gut-brain” that operates as our digestive, emotional, and stress center.

You can see why it’s so important to select foods that will boost your digestive system.

But that’s not so easy to do, is it? It seems like there are more diets than there are foods in the grocery stores. It turns out that there is a trick to figuring out which foodstuffs will boost your immune system.

It lies in your chakra system.

Chakras are subtle energy centers along the spine (think yoga) that manage every part of our lives. However, we each have one major chakra through which our true personality expresses.

Every chakra is linked to a specific endocrine gland and requires different foods to be healthy. That means if you stoke that chakra and its related gland with its best-case foods, you’ll aid your immune system—while you’re supporting your inner self.

To help you pinpoint your major chakra, I’ve developed a simple quiz that outlines the traits of each of the seven, in-body chakras. Select the list of traits that best describe you. Next, match your chakra number in the Answer Key. Then read the chakra descriptions and the types of food required for assuring an amazing immune system.

(Quiz)

Select one of the following seven lists that best describes your personality:

a) Emotive. Colorful. Playful. When your feelings are sluggish, so is your health.

b) Romantic. Heart-based. Interactive. Have you noticed? You get sick less often when you’re in love or feeling loveable.

c) Aesthetic. Pictorial. Perceptive. When you feel attractive, you’re naturally healthier.

d) Intellectual. Organized.  Structured. Your health spirals when your schedule is out of control.

e) Devoted. Meditative. Harmonious. When you’re in flow spiritually, you’re hale and hearty.

f) Busy. Active. Productive. You move too fast to get sick—until you’re felled like a tree in the forest. Crash.

g) Thoughtful. Verbal. Musical. If you’ve enough new ideas to ponder, you hardly get sick. Bored? You seem to catch everything.

(Answer Key)

See the answer key below to determine your major chakra and the label best describing the related personality. Then use the tips provided to pep up that immune system.

a) The Second Chakra-Creative. Found in the abdomen, this orange chakra is governed by the ovaries or testes. Maintain hormonal balance by selecting hormone-free and organic foods and food combine, putting together a healthy fat, protein, and carb for every meal. Feeling slothful? Consider cutting out the gluten and cow dairy. Cook with nutritional carbs like quinoa or brown rice and try Greek yogurt with lots of probiotics. Veggies and fruit are your best friends, as well as fatty fish or plant-based proteins like beans and legumes.

b) The Fourth Chakra-Relator. Ahh, love. Your health is directly tied to your heart, the endocrine gland related to this chest-based green chakra. Eat as the Mediterranean as possible. Those good fats, like avocado or olive oil, drizzled on lean proteins and plenty of whole grains. Throw in ample amounts of veggies and fruits and a bit of robust seasoning, and you’re in. As a Realtor, it’s equally important to focus on energies like Faith, Hope, Truth, and Love. A diet of loving emotions improves your immune system.

c) The Sixth Chakra-Visualizer. This brow-based purple center is also called the Third Eye. It operates through the pituitary, known as the master gland. Help your hormones by following a diet replete with fish, eggs, fruits, and nuts. Throw in leafy veggies, and partner carbs with proteins. Consider making breakfast your biggest meal and eating dinner at least three hours before bedtime. A dark chocolate snack aids your inner vision, and you can balance blood sugar with a little apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and fenugreek.

d) The Third Chakra-Thinker. Located in the solar plexus, this yellow chakra is pancreas-based. This supremely sensitive organ rules your blood sugar, making your cravings swing. Stay even with “mini-meals.” Eat several small meals a day, each combining healthy fat, protein, and carb. Refrain from high-fat foods and simple sugars and choose foods like bran, beans, and veggies. Select fruits with digestive enzymes, like papaya and pineapple, and maybe drizzle with probiotic yogurt.

e) The Seventh Chakra-Spiritualist. Pure white radiates from this top-of-the-head chakra, located in the pineal gland. Go for a balanced diet, with fish, poultry, or a vegan alternative paired with complex carbs. Round out with healthy fats, fruits, and veggies, and try tryptophan-rich foods found in turkey and salmon. This amino acid converts to serotonin in the pineal gland. (Think good mood!) Overall, choose alkaline foods, like chives, cucumbers, onions, peppers, and sweet potatoes. And oh. Get sunshine! Otherwise, you’ll be SAD (have Seasonal Affective Disorder).

f) The First Chakra-Manifestor. Those tiny adrenals linked to the hip-based, red first chakra afficiando are sure powerful! Keep yourself from burnout by fueling yourself with hormone-free proteins. Limit your fruit and go for the greens and high-glycemic carbs. Please, try and eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Then you won’t reach for those Snickers bars. Fermented foods will aid your digestion and lucky you, a pinch of salt every so often is A-okay. Another tip? Think of lots of minerals and vitamins!

g) The Fifth Chakra-Communicator. Eat for your throat-based, blue chakra and thyroid gland with lots of veggies, fruits, and lean meats, and moderate those grains. Good-bye inflammatory foods, like gluten or cow dairy, and know that you’re super sensitive to toxins and chemicals. Hello, free-range, wild-caught, organic, etc. Consider avoiding goitrogens, compounds in foods like soy and raw cabbage, and broccoli, while eating with minerals in mind. (Smoothie, anyone?)

How Qi (Chi) Energy Flows Through the 12 Meridian Points That Exist Within Your Body

It may seem counterintuitive, but there are many instances where science can actually hold us back from new discoveries and knowledge. Unfortunately, mainstream science is quick to discount anything which cannot be physically seen or felt, making notions like ‘energy points within the body seem like pure science fiction. But just because we can’t physically see something, does not mean it doesn’t exist. Nikola Tesla told us that “the day science begins to study non-physical phenomena,  it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence,” and hundreds of scientists around the world have been taking on this task for several years. Within the next few decades, the examination of non-material science is going to skyrocket, and we all stand to benefit. What we know as science is definitely changing.

One example where non-material science could benefit the human race is healthcare, as a number of publications have revealed the importance of mind-body connections, and how our thoughts, emotions, feelings, the perception of the environment around us, and more are all connected to the health of our body and regulation of our immune system. A study published in the Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies titled “The Primo Vascular System as a New Anatomical System” is one that has recognized the importance of these concepts.

The medical community, for the most part, discounts healing therapies using this type of knowledge — knowledge that was present thousands of years ago in various ancient cultures. Acupuncture, a technique that manipulates the human meridian system in order to heal the body, has worked wonders for many people, yet our science has yet to explain how it does so. This is one example of many. Despite being unable to scientifically explain how these techniques function, few could deny that traditional Eastern medicine has proven successful for many people, or that it’s been crucial for curing various diseases. It has been used for thousands of years, and one has to assume that if it didn’t work, we would have abandoned the practice by now.

According to Western medicine, no known meridian system has a physical anatomical basis. The above study offers a different perspective, however:

In the early 1960s, only one hypothesis was proposed to explain the anatomical basis of the meridians. By using different experimental approaches during the past 10 years, the number of scientific papers that report the discovery of different anatomical and physiological evidence confirming the existence of an anatomical basis for the meridian system has increased. Morphological science is greatly challenged to offer a new biomedical theory that explains the possible existence of new bodily systems such as the primo vascular system (PVS).

Researchers are calling it the Primo Vascular System, and, according to another paper published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, “even today, the meridian system is still being investigated with well-known anatomical structures.”

This includes connective tissues called the fascia system, which is representative of the function of the meridian system being established and understood, as outlined by a study published in the journal Anatomical Record that mapped acupuncture points in serial gross anatomical sections through the human arm. It found “an 80% correspondence between the sites of acupuncture points and the location of intermuscular or intramuscular connective tissue planes in the postmortem tissue sections.” The study proposed that “the anatomical relationship of acupuncture points and meridians to connective tissue planes is relevant to acupuncture’s mechanism of action and suggests a potentially important integrative role for interstitial connective tissue.”

Korean researchers (of the first study cited above) believe the primo-vascular system is in fact the physical component of the Acupuncture Meridian System. They’ve also suggested that this system is involved in channeling the flow of energy and information relayed by biophotons (electromagnetic waves of light) and DNA. They propose that the anatomical basis for the PVS and this energy, also known as “Qi,” is “an electromagnetic wave that is involved very closely with the DNA in the PVS and that DNA “provides genetics information” and “functions as a store of information that can be obtained from the electromagnetic fields of the environment.”

They cite several studies showing that the PVS has been detected in various regions of the body:

The PVs have been found inside blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. The PVs inside lymph vessels freely flow in the lymph. The PVs and PNs flow in the third ventricle, fourth ventricle, cerebral aqueduct, and along the central canal of the spinal cord. The PVS has also been found on the arachnoid mater, cerebellum,  perineurium, and epinervium of the sciatic nerve. The PVs and PNs are present on the surfaces of the liver, stomach, small and large intestines, bladder, spleen, kidneys and omentum, abdominal cavity, the hypodermal layer of the skin, superficial fascia, fat tissue, and cancer fascia. The PVs also enter internal organ tissues.

The researchers injected a special staining dye that colored the meridians, revealing thin lines along with these acupuncture points which were not present at non-acupuncture point sites (where there are no meridians). The researchers discovered that the meridian lines are not confined to the skin, but are in fact a concrete duct system through which liquid flows. They also learned that this liquid aggregates to form stem cells.

After all of their research (as seen in the publication), the scientists concluded that PVS allows communication between living organisms and the environment and that it’s a system that spans throughout the entire body and plays a role in all biological life processes. They concluded that it receives signals in the form of electromagnetic waves from the environment, and internal signals from the body as well:

The PVS, which until now has been a missing body system, can explain many of the mysteries of life. The physical substrate for the meridian system is the missing point that can be used to combine the knowledge of ancient Chinese medicine and that of modern science into one successful unit.

It’s always interesting to look at ancient knowledge and teachings, particularly because so much has been and continues to be confirmed by modern-day science. Every day, it seems, we discover why an ancient practice works on a scientific level; every day we validate something which previous generations simply understood to be valuable. And these ‘new’ discoveries of old knowledge support the notion that many more of these supposedly antiquated or pseudoscientific practices are in fact worthwhile.

There remain many phenomena for which we have no explanation. For example, a study published in the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, as seen in the US National Library of Medicine, demonstrated that a woman with special abilities was and is able to accelerate the germination of specific seeds for the purposes of developing a more robust seed stock. This is just one of many examples where extraordinary things have been observed and documented yet cannot be explained scientifically.

As with meridian points and energy systems in the body, perhaps science is calling us to be more intuitive, more trusting, and more open-minded. Perhaps a scientific explanation is not needed to confirm what people knew thousands of years ago and still benefit from today. It’s something to think about.

From The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences

The world below comes from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences.

“So, what is a meridian anyway? This is one of the first questions students of Chinese medicine want to understand. Simply put, a meridian is an ‘energy highway’ in the human body. Qi (chee) energy flows through this meridian or energy highway, accessing all parts of the body. Meridians can be mapped throughout the body; they flow within the body and not on the surface, meridians exist in corresponding pairs and each meridian has many acupuncture points along its path.

The term ‘meridian’ describes the overall energy distribution system of Chinese Medicine and helps us to understand how basic substances of the body (Qi, blood, and body fluids) permeate the whole body. The individual meridians themselves are often described as ‘channels’ or even ‘vessels’ which reflects the notion of carrying, holding, or transporting qi, blood, and body fluids around the body.

It is tempting to think of the meridians of the human body the same way as we think of the circulatory system, as the meridians are responsible for the distribution of the basic substances throughout the body just like the circulatory system, but here is where the similarities end. Conventional anatomy and physiology would not be able to identify these pathways in a physical sense in the way that blood vessels can be identified.

It is more useful to consider the meridian system as an energetic distribution network that in itself tends towards energetic manifestation. Meridians can be best understood as a process rather than a structure.

Practitioners of Chinese Medicine must be as knowledgeable about these meridian channels as the Western Doctor is about anatomy and physiology of the physical body. Without this thorough understanding, successful acupuncture treatments would be difficult. A practitioner of Chinese Medicine must know how and where to access the qi energy of the body to facilitate the healing process.

There are twelve main meridians, or invisible channels, throughout the body with Qi or energy flows. Each limb is traversed by six channels, three Yin channels on the inside, and three Yang channels on the outside. Each of the twelve regular channels corresponds to the five Yin organs, the six Yang organs as well as the Pericardium and San Jiao. These are organs that have no anatomical counterpart in Western medicine but also relate to processes in the body. It is also important to remember that organs should not be thought of as being identical to the physical, anatomical organs of the body.

Each meridian is a Yin Yang pair, meaning each Yin organ is paired with its corresponding Yang Organ: the Yin Lung organ, for example, corresponds with the Yang large intestine.

Qi flows in a precise manner through the twelve regular meridians or channels. First, Qi flows from the chest area along the three arm Yin channels (Lung, Pericardium, and Heart) to the hands. There they connect with the three paired arm Yang channels (Large Intestine, San Jiao, and Small Intestine) and flow upward to the head. In the head, they connect with their three corresponding legs Yang Channels (Stomach, Gall Bladder, and Bladder), and flow down the body to the feet. In the feet, they connect with their corresponding leg Yin channels (Spleen, Liver, Kidney) and flow up again to the chest to complete the cycle of Qi.

  • Arm Tai Yin channel corresponds to the Lung
  • Leg Tai Yin channel corresponds to the Spleen
  • Arm Shao Yin channel corresponds to the Heart
  • Leg Shao Yin corresponds to the Kidney
  • Arm Jue Yin corresponds to the Pericardium
  • Leg Jue Yin corresponds to the Liver
  • Arm Yang Ming corresponds to the Large Intestine
  • Leg Yang Ming corresponds to the Stomach
  • Arm Tai Yang corresponds to the Small Intestine
  • Leg Tai Yang corresponds to the Bladder
  • Arm Shao Yang corresponds to the San Jiao
  • Leg Shao Yang Channel corresponds to the Gall Bladder

The arm and leg channels of the same name are considered to ‘communicate’ with each other in Chinese medicine. Thus, problems in a given channel or organ can be treated by using various points on the communication ‘partner’. As an example: a problem with the lungs can be treated by using points on the Spleen channel as they are both Tai Yin channels.

In addition to the twelve regular meridians there are ‘Extraordinary Meridians’ that are not directly linked to the major organ system but have various specific functions:

1) they act as reservoirs of Qi and blood for the twelve regular channels, filling and emptying as required

2) they circulate jing or ‘essence’ around the body because they have a strong connection with the Kidneys

3) they help circulate the defensive Wei Qi over the trunk of the body and, as such, play an important role in maintaining good health

4) they provide further connections between the twelve regular channels

The meridian system of the human body is a delicate, yet the intricate web of interconnecting energy lines. If a person masters an understanding of this meridian system they will know the secrets of the flow of Qi energy in the body.”

EFT: A Powerful Technique That Brings Fast Relief From Emotional & Physical Stress

In Brief

  • The Facts:A simple technique you can do on yourself with very little practice has the ability to help you regulate your emotions, tone down stress, fear, and anxiety, and bring you emotional and physical freedom.
  • Reflect On:Do you know what holds you back from experiencing peace and freedom in your life? Are you currently doing anything to help move beyond those things?

It was March 2014 and I was days away from having to get on a plane to fly to New York City to give my TEDx talk. I was nervous because I wasn’t used to public speaking on that sort of stage and to be downright honest, I didn’t want to f*ck it up.

I sought out the help of a friend who introduced me to EFT or ‘tapping,’ a self-help technique that can help you immediately reduce the charge of emotion, pain, or feeling that’s draining your energy or making you feel stressed.  I went into the session with her pretty damn nervous and with a pit in my stomach about what I had to do in a few days. Then came the tapping. Within 20 minutes of going through the technique, I was chilled out and no longer nervous.

“How could it have worked so fast?” I thought. Prior to learning this technique, nothing had worked that well to ease my nerves about public speaking, and I have to say I was very happy about it. But was it going to last? Would it all come back when I went on that stage in a couple of days?

Leading up to the hours before doing the talk I got nervous again, but not anywhere as bad as I had in the past. I knew I was prepared to give my talk, but I couldn’t help but feel nervous when I saw the stage, the people, the cameras, and knew that shit was about the get REAL.

Backstage I was brought to the final staging room to prepare for my talk. I could hear the man before me who was having his turn addressing the audience. It seemed to make me more nervous, my head was running, filling up with stories of what I feared most. I needed to do something, so I tapped it out.

I stood in front of the mirror in the small staging room and stared at myself. “Do what you just learned, if it worked before it can work now,” I told myself.

So I started tapping, running through the simple and specific technique I had just learned days prior. After about 5 minutes and a few rounds through the technique, I was 90% calmer and much more clear-headed. I felt ready to go take on something that I’ve been fearful of for years. By the time I stepped out onto the stage my nerves were at a very manageable point and all went well with the talk.

The Full Details On The Tapping Solution

The reality is, we are typically a product of the experiences and belief systems that have shaped us over our lifetime. Whether we had one experience that threw us into a story and belief that we can’t speak well publicly or whether we were told by someone when we were young that we shouldn’t do it, these sorts of belief systems are rehearsed in our minds over and over, and we create powerful neural pathways and biochemical patterns in our bodies based on those beliefs.

Then what happens is, we allow these strengthened subconscious patterns to become energy drains that stress us out, limit our choices and ultimately lessen our capacity to cope with the events of life. Tools like EFT or ‘tapping,’ can help us break those patterns.

As stated by Nick Ortner of ‘The Tapping Solution:’

“When you think about your life, what events, limiting beliefs, or deep-seated emotions do you have that are holding you back? Are you aware of what they are and of how they’re limiting you today? If you do know what they are, are you doing anything to release the grip that they have over your life?”

As we’ve discussed many times in our work, we are extraordinary beings with extraordinary capabilities, only, we have forgotten how to access all of our faculties. We are not stuck or limited to the current belief systems we currently hold, and I believe The Tapping Solution is one of many effective tools I’ve seen to help people step out of these belief systems and into their full potential.

To learn this simple technique, check out Nick Ortner as he shares how and why tapping works and guides you through how to do it yourself. Watch his powerful video here.

Dorothy Rowe’s Incredible Journey as an Energy Healer

Dorothy Rowe

When the term “energy healing” is used in everyday conversation, one of the most common reactions is that of sincere confusion. This effect isn’t limited to those who have a narrow interest in personal wellbeing. Even those who believe in the efficacy of alternative therapies rarely hear of this concept in a straightforward way.

But instead of selective ignorance, this reaction arises from a lack of awareness. That’s why, when the overall benefits and critical nature of energy healing is properly explained, most people have nothing but positive interest to show for it.

With that, defining energy healing to those who have never heard of it isn’t easy. Due to this reason, those with the gift of energy healing not only have to support others during healing sessions but also need to take up the mantle of answering detailed questions about the modality.

Dorothy Rowe is one such healer.

With her gift of clairvoyance, Rowe is dedicated to supporting those who want to benefit from the power of energy healing. From her home in Iowa, Rowe practices consistent healing sessions in in-person and remote settings. Through these sessions, she fulfills her main goal of educating and supporting others in awakening their self-healing gifts.

How Did Dorothy Rowe Start Energy Healing?

Before Rowe started experiencing the effects of spiritual energy, she had been your typical teenager who was too focused on surface-level elements to unlock her Divine energy.

But fortunately, she turned towards meditation with her family before she could permanently lose sight of her profound connection with the realms of energy.

While Rowe started to learn about her gift of clairvoyance, it wasn’t until her move to Iowa in early adulthood that she connected with the realms of creation. After spending 35 years practicing meditation and noticing various instances of energy healing, Rowe went through various personal tragedies that included the loss of her father and her mentor.

Rowe Connected With the Realms of Creation From a Place of Grief

Due to the serious nature of her grief, Rowe started to experience a health crisis. While she turned her focus on the Divine power, she had a profound energy experience during a random mall trip one day. From there, she started noticing a chain of gradual yet distinct energy healing experiences.

As each experience left her feeling better than the last, Rowe turned to an old friend who supported her in reaching the realms of energy to heal herself. With consistent help from her friend, Rowe was able to bask in complete healing within a few years.

She Now Dedicates Her Time to Helping Others

After unlocking her gift, Rowe decided to keep it a secret. However, she soon noticed how her support could help others find relief from their pain and suffering – which was the same objective her friend had helped her achieve. As a result, she started offering her help to anyone who needed it.

With her experience, Rowe now supports countless people through energy healing, remote energy healing, as well as educational resources. Whether you are trying to learn more about energy healing or want to peer into your Divine gift, her guidance and support can help you reach these objectives.

At the time of writing, Rowe leads Distance Energy Work through its official website and offers assistance upon a single inquiry. Through her work, she is fulfilling her mission of explaining the benefits of energy healing to anyone who wants to learn more about this concept.

In the Outer World of Chaos Remains an Inner World of Peace

According to Wikipedia, Chaos Theory is defined as “the field of study in mathematics that studies the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions – a response popularly referred to as the butterfly effect.” In other words, Chaos Theory refers to how meaningful and profound even the most seemingly insignificant things are and teaches us that nothing is trivial.

It may not look like it, especially in the wake of the recent events in the world including the fact it has literally shut down, along with the expected MSM fear campaigns and otherwordly, and distractions in the form of manufactured illness, but the world is an amazing and beautiful place. The only thing going on here is as a species we are not aligned with peace; which believe it or not is our natural state of being as it is for all living things in nature, including Mother Earth herself.

So, what does Chaos Theory have to do with world peace? Well, for starters it is now elementary science that everything is energy and that like energy attracts like energy. There is also an enormous amount of research and evidence available showing the benefits of meditation to bring relaxation to ourselves in times of stress and anxiety. And lastly, with the wave of higher consciousness, we are ALL being called to look within ourselves and heal our innermost shadows. And as the numbers rise in those of us doing this soul work, so also raises the level of peace in our collective consciousness overall.

Chaos Theory or “the butterfly effect” is also what is making it appear as if there is NO hope for humanity at this time. Everywhere we look we see famine, war, suffering, and meaningless cruelty. But if we pan wide…if we just zoom out from our limited perspectives stemming from indoctrinated fear and try to catch a glimpse from a global or even universal view if we so dare, we just might see that great healing is occurring on this planet. Assemblyman David DiPietro: Fear-Monger | WNYmedia Network ...

Just as in our own lives when all seems to be going to shit and we are so close to giving up does the greatest growth happen. It is only when we dig deep and get down to the roots that we can ever really see what is holding us back from progression, and as the Earth is a sentient being just as you and I are, she also heals in much the same way.

It could be said that nations and cultures are the planets various personas and as she works out the unhealed parts of herself as we each do every day of our lives, we bear witness to her growth in the form of the sometimes barbaric, collective acts of humans in the form of greed, war, genocide, etc. We are more deeply a part of the Earth than we ever learn in school, and yet our ancestors knew this and lived it. They cherish her, respected her and lived in harmony with her. But as humans do, we develop shadows with free will; we begin to believe the illusion of separation and thus begin the fall of man. There have been many cycles of this throughout our history.

Steve Mariboli once said, “The universe is so well balanced that the mere fact that you have a problem also serves as a sign that there is a solution.” This quote is a great reflection upon Chaos Theory, which would support the notion that no matter how chaotic things appear to get, that it is simply a reflection of how stable they can be as well…as all things must return to balance; to zero-point. Nature knows nothing else, just harmony and is always falling back to the center. It is only when it runs into some sort of interference do discordances occur. It could be said that many of man’s poor choices have definitely contributed to much of the “discord” we see in nature all around the world today.

So, how do we achieve the unachievable? How does humanity finally stop bickering and killing one another mindlessly over religion, oil, money, politics, and power? The answer always has been and remains a simple one. KNOW PEACE AND THE WORLD WILL KNOW PEACE.

Be the Order in the Chaos — Guru SinghThe only way the world will ever know peace is when every person takes ownership of their shadows and does the work to heal and integrate them. This involves not forming your personal beliefs solely based on mainstream media propaganda and world “health officials” with alternative agendas to serve. The path that leads a person to be at peace within them is ultimately the path that will also bring peace to the entire world…because it has to start with one…with each of us. It can’t be each of us looking around, waiting for someone else to make a move. There is nothing “out there”….and if you continue to believe there is, you will always see a world up in arms in chaos. But if you close your eyes for a moment…breathe, and step out onto the invisible bridge of everything inside you that you fear, hate, ignore, etc….then your life and our world will never again be the same. It will be…peaceful. And more importantly, it will be your OWN.

ONE LOVE TO YOU ALL. <3

The Self-Healing Revolution Is Upon Us – Energy Psychology Explained

By Brendan D. Murphy, Guest
Waking Times

“In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.” —ALBERT SZENT-GYORGYI, NOBEL LAUREATE IN MEDICINE

Better Ways to Heal Through Energy Psychology

A self-healing revolution is upon us and it turns the standard Western healing model on its head, putting the patient back in the driver’s seat, not only making them an active participant in their own healing, but moving beyond the band-aid solutions that pervade mainstream psychiatry and psychology.

The current paradigm shift presupposes that, with the right approach, just about anything anonymous can be healed or reversed, and that a pain- or drug-addled existence of managing symptoms and eking by is no longer the best option, nor a fait accompli.

This is the revolution that Big Pharma and institutional psychiatry hope you never hear about.

The emergence of energy psychology (EP), including methods such as EFT (emotional freedom techniques), TFT (thought field therapy), Psych-K, and Matrix Reimprinting (to name a few) means that, for millions of people suffering from phobias, self-limiting beliefs, or even major emotional and/or physical traumas, expensive and often ineffective traditional therapies can be eschewed (bypassed) in favour of more affordable (or free) and very often spectacularly successful “new” methods—that can achieve better results in a fraction of the time.

What is Energy Psychology?

Energy psychology describes a collection of novel psychological interventions that “balance, restore, and enhance human functioning by stimulating the human subtle energy system,” which includes the acupuncture meridian system, chakras, and nadis“These techniques…have been observed to catalyze rapid, dramatic, and lasting changes in feelings, beliefs, mental states, and behaviors,” as well as physiology and biochemistry.  Thus, EP techniques involve “stimulating energy, whether by tapping, touching, or intention.”[1]

EP therefore traces its roots not just to Chinese medicine and qi gong, but also to the work of modern pioneers such as chiropractor and founder of applied kinesiology George Goodheart, Australian psychiatrist John Diamond, and Thought Field Therapy founder Roger Callahan.[2]

In short, EP modalities use both psychological interventions and energetic interventions together.[3] The result is something far greater than the sum of the parts: EP techniques offer a uniquely powerful way to address and heal the subconscious mind from which around 95% of our thoughts and behaviour originate (and this, in turn, leads to physical healing and resoration).

Cognitive neuroscientists estimate that our conscious minds contribute roughly a mere 5% of our cognitive activity, meaning that the vast majority of our actions, emotions, decisions, and behaviours result from the unobserved workings of the subconscious.[4] Consider the sobering fact that during the first six years of life, most of our beliefs about ourselves and the world are formed and adopted into our subconscious quite passively, according to what we experience and observe—all before we have developed critical thinking faculties that would allow us to reject self-defeating notions before we adopt them as beliefs that then shape our thoughts and actions, and the kind of lives we lead.[5]

EFT and TFT

For psychological issues rooted deeply in intense emotion (more so than at the mental level), EFT, TFT, and Matrix Reimprinting (which developed from EFT) may be more effective more of the time than virtually any other therapies. Scientific research combined with voluminous anecdotal reporting suggests monumental potential for future applications of EFT and TFT.

Developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, EFT arose from TFT (Thought Field Therapy), which was developed by Dr Roger Callahan and articulated and popularized by him through the 1970s and 1980s. What Callahan did was make the serendipitous discovery that tapping on a sequence of acupoints (acupuncture points) on a female client with an extreme phobia of water produced profound relief and resolution—far beyond what an educated Western medical professional could ever have hoped based on their knowledge at that time (and for those stuck in the mainstream allopathic mindset this largely still holds true).

Callahan’s client could not even look at water without acquiring a splitting headache, and because the approach of systematic desensitization was making so little inroad into the problem, Callahan changed tack and tried tapping on acupoints instead (a method from applied kinesiology). After only 1 minute of this, the woman knew immediately—without Callahan even needing to test her—that her fear was gone.[6]

From this initial epiphany Callahan went on to develop an elaborate and complicated system of specialised algorithms—each custom-designed to treat a particular problem, and to this day insists that the body’s energy fields respond differently to different tapping sequences (which is probably true), and thus, for maximum results each malady requires its own condition-specific tapping algorithm. Callahan has a list of professional advocates with impressive credentials who rave about the wonders they have seen TFT work.[7]

The story gets more interesting, however, when Gary Craig enters the picture. Craig was one of Callahan’s students many years ago, at a time when Callahan was charging individuals a whopping $100,000 each to learn TFT. Craig—having paid the money and learned under Callahan—simply asked himself whether such amazing results could be obtained through simpler, easier-to-apply and essentially random tapping sequences (rather than specialised algorithms). So Craig tested his hypothesis out and, sure enough, the results he got were impressive. No matter the order in which Craig stimulated the acupoints on his subjects, significant therapeutic benefits were obtained. Craig decided that the world needed this information, and thus he began giving his knowledge and methods away to the public for free.[8] Thus, EFT was born into the world. Condition-specific tapping algorithms and hefty tuition fees be damned.

EFT’s bread and butter involves repeatedly tapping a selection of acupoints whilst tuning in to the feelings (and even the colour/s and textures) sensed in the body that are stemming from a particular memory, unpleasant current emotion, or old trauma. The idea is to decrease the intensity of the sensation down as close to zero (on a scale of zero to ten) as possible, zero being complete resolution (no emotional charge) and ten being maximum intensity. (This “subjective units of disturbance/distress” [SUDs] self-reporting scale was developed by psychologist Joseph Wolpe in 1958.)

In short, energy psychology techniques such as EFT and TFT systematize the use of acupoints into a structured stress and trauma reduction routine—and unlike pharmaceuticals, they actually heal.

Shockingly Good Results

In 2003 a scientific study by the Australian psychologist Dr Steven Wells et al., detailed phenomenal success in using EFT to treat clinically diagnosed phobias of small animals such as snakes, spiders, bats, and mice. The pre-EFT intensity of the phobias were measured by taking into account several factors: increases in pulse rate while contemplating the feared object; the number of steps they could walk towards the feared creature; written stress questionnaires. Subjects were then briefed for half an hour on the treatment method, including receiving a brief EFT session.

The subjects then had their phobias tested again. On every measure fear had dropped dramatically, and some subjects could even walk right up to the animals that had normally triggered phobic reactions.

One woman with a previously crippling fear of cockroaches followed her 30 minute EFT session by immediately walking into the nearby room harbouring a cockroach in a jar, picking it up and examining it closely. She found that her newfound confidence and self-esteem permeated all areas of her life. Six months later, a follow-up study showed that subjects still had much reduced phobic reactions to the objects of their fear—a truly remarkable result. This study was later replicated by Harvey Baker’s research team of New York’s Queen’s College.[9]

Numerous studies in energy psychology have repeatedly shown its potency, evincing the ability not just to reduce or eliminate phobic responses but pain and anxiety too. In fact, the medical implications and potential applications are astounding.

Another study involved taking brain scans of subjects with generalized anxiety disorder. Anxiety and depression, for instance, have specific electronic signatures. EEG readings of participants’ brains taken through twelve energy psychology sessions show enhanced wave-frequency ratios and less dysfunction, especially in the frontal lobes (which are involved in higher mental functions, including humour appreciation, personality, self-awareness, and emotions in general[10]).

Subjects’ brains which were treated simply with antidepressants showed no such improvements, and the group treated with the more widely known cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) required more sessions to achieve similar results to the EFT group, and the effects were not as durable, as revealed by a one-year follow-up.[11]

In further support of these findings, in February 2013, Dr Dawson Church et al. reported the results of a study of 59 US veterans with clinically diagnosed (severe) post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These were published in the respected Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease. In this randomized controlled study (the “gold standard” of scientific research), 30 veterans in the EFT group received 6 separate 1-hour-long EFT sessions (concurrent with standard care), while the control group (n = 29) received no EFT treatment. Measures of the breadth and severity of psychological distress for veterans in the EFT group plummeted. After 6 sessions, fully 90% of the EFT group no longer qualified as having PTSD—an incredible result. In contrast, a month after the initial tests, only 4% of the control group no longer registered as having PTSD. After the wait period, the control group then also received EFT. Again the results were stunning, with huge drops in clinical symptoms.

For the 49 subjects (of the original overall sample of 59 participating veterans) who actually did receive EFT treatment in the end, fully 80% of them remained free of manifest PTSD symptoms (they were “subclinical”) 6 months later. Church reported:

This is the best result for PTSD ever obtained in a clinical trial for any therapy.[12](emphasis added)

To put this in perspective, many traditional therapists wrongly believe that PTSD is incurable.

In fact, EFT’s more complicated “big brother”—TFT—has achieved results at least as remarkable. A volunteer team of EP practitioners who travelled to Kosovo to treat survivors of the Serbian massacre using TFT were able to report that remaining survivors experienced complete recovery from “the post-traumatic emotional effects of 247 of the 249 memories of torture, rape, and witnessing the massacre of loved ones” which were treated. Kosovo’s surgeon general wrote in glowing terms of the achievements of the international EP team, lauding their efforts. Additionally, in formal follow-ups at an average of 5 months later, all those treated remained free of relapse.[13]

Overall,

Treatments by international teams working with post-disaster victims in Kosovo, Rwanda, the Congo, and South Africa tallied the treatment outcomes of 337 individuals (Feinstein, 2008). Treatment focused on reducing severe emotional reactions evoked by specific traumatic memories [such as those in the above Kosovo study]. Following the energy psychology interventions, 334 of the 337 individuals were able to bring to mind their most traumatic memories from the disaster and report no physiological/affective arousal. Twenty-two traumatized Hurricane Katrina care givers…reported a reduction [on the SUDs scale] from a mean of 8.14 to 0.76 on 51 [emotional] problem areas [after one 15-minute EP session]…[14]

Along with drastic improvements in emotional maladies, it is true that many physical symptoms also spontaneously improve or vanish through the use of EP. Darkfield analysis by one doctor of a patient’s live red blood cells showed significantly decreased clumping of red blood cells immediately following the use of EFT, as compared with the obvious clumping seen beforehand. (See Figure 1.)  Red blood cell clumping is problematic because it means less surface area for oxygen from the lungs to bond to the cell surface for transport around the body. Hence, more spacing between red cells is ideal for maximising oxygen uptake. The bottom image was taken a mere 12 minutes after the initial image. Only 12 minutes and 2 rounds of EFT with the conscious intent of producing an even cell distribution was required to produce this effect. In contrast, if red cell clumping can even be reversed at all using mainstream allopathic methods, it normally takes months.[15]

On top of that, the conventional medical mindset denies that intention can produce such striking effects on typically unconscious physiological processes, thus further disempowering millions of people around the world.

The list of physical complaints and symptoms that have reportedly been remedied or reduced with EFT is virtually endless: PMS, lupus, failing eyesight, headaches, allergies, carpal tunnel syndrome, cancer, MS—you name it.[16]

At the 13th International Energy Psychology Conference held in Reston, Viriginia (2011), it was reported that then-current research was additionally demonstrating the effectiveness of EP on “test anxiety, food cravings and weight loss maintenance, public speaking anxiety, optimal test performance, and psychosomatic conditions such as psoriasis, tinnitus, and fibromyalgia.”[17]

The day when EFT gains widespread mainstream appeal and acceptance is edging ever closer. In November 2012, the American Psychological Association (APA) accepted and published a summation of validated studies by ACEP showing the effectiveness of EFT—a reversal of the position held by the APA for the previous 13 years in which it refused to acknowledge EFT’s effectiveness.[18]

Healing Properties of Gemstones

Gemstones and crystals can help promote self-healing. Check out these gemstones and their benefits:

Amethyst

Amethyst is a popular gemstone. It is the purple variety of Quartz that is highly prized. The name of this precious stone is derived from the Greek word “amethystos,” meaning “not drunken.” That’s why it’s also thought to eliminate drunkenness

When it comes to the Amethyst meaning, it is considered as a natural tranquilizer. Amethyst helps relieve pain and stress, balances mood swings, soothes irritability, and dispels fear, anxiety, anger, and rage. Also, it alleviates grief and sadness and dissolves negativity. If you want to activate your spiritual awareness, enhance your psychic abilities, and open your intuition, amethyst can help.

Opal

Precious opal is opaline silica having a combination of color. It has beautiful shifting spectral hues that contain around 5 to 6 percent water and small silica spheres in a regular pattern arrangement.

Opal is thought to improve urinary system functioning, especially the kidneys.

Jade

Jade’s color is light to dark green, sometimes yellow, gray, white, brown, or black. The Jade crystal is considered a crystal healing superstar because of its powerful heart chakra connection with varying degrees of green.

Jade is an auspicious stone, bringing people hope and comfort and hope in the new year. Also, it is believed to prevent illness and enhance optimism with its wearer.

Ruby

Ruby stone has a pink to blood-red color, which a variety of corundum or aluminum oxide – a type of mineral. It is a traditional cardinal gem along with sapphire, emerald, amethyst, and diamond.

Ruby is obtained from the Latin word “ruber,” which means red. It’s a powerful stone that balances emotions, and it is said to stimulate the heart chakra. Also, it brings spiritual wisdom, shielding an individual against psychic attacks.

Matrix Reimprinting

Matrix Reimprinting (MR) is an outgrowth of EFT and was developed by EFT Master Karl Dawson. It too is producing some extraordinary healing results in diverse areas.

The basic premise of MR is that we all exist in a unified field (the “Matrix”) and that when our psyche is traumatized, part of it dissociates/splits off and lingers in the Matrix, essentially remaining as a version of oneself that is frozen in time, never growing older. This entity is an “ECHO” (Energy Consciousness Hologram). (Shamanism agrees that this splitting/dissociative process occurs under trauma, and seeks to resolve the problem through “soul retrieval.” Spirit Release Therapy, on the other hand, uses hypnosis to locate dissociated parts of the psyche and reintegrate them.)

To be more precise, the ECHO inhabits your psyche in an unintegrated fashion, lingering as what is now effectively a separate traumatized version of you stuck in “time.” (In trauma-based mind control programs such as Monarch and MK Ultra, these separate personality constructs are known as “altars.”)

MR uses a variation of a fundamental technique from EFT to help heal and reintegrate ECHOs, known as the Movie Technique. In MR, however, as practitioner Caroline Paulzen (sister of MR founder Karl Dawson and the sole MR trainer in Australia) explains, as you run the “movie” of your traumatic memory in your mind, you can stop it and interact with your ECHO within the memory, “stepping into the picture and tapping on your ECHO using the EFT protocol (whilst physically tapping on yourself in the present).”

From here you can collaborate with the ECHO to assist them in reprogramming the memory into a more pleasant and acceptable one. The ECHO is given the chance to have a less traumatic, more positive emotional experience which will replace the old trauma stored in the subconscious.[19] This creates and activates different neural pathways in the brain from those associated with the original trauma.

Thus, MR combines the physical tapping used in EFT with a “virtual tapping” occurring at the mental-emotional level in order to directly address the “virtual entities” dubbed ECHOs inhabiting the subconscious mind.

As with EFT, MR is known to effect healing for a vast array of painful memories and psychosomatic symptoms arising from them, including allergies. Dawson’s book Matrix Reimprinting Using EFT, co-authored with Sasha Allenby, features various case studies in which profound healing has taken place through MR. In fact, Allenby cured herself of over 20 allergies through EFT and MR.

The authors also include the story of a woman named Jenny who had a mysterious and life-threatening allergy to coffee: “Even the slight smell of coffee would send Jenny into extreme paralysis becoming speechless, unable to move any part of her body and liable to lose control of her bowels and bladder.”

Dawson and Jenny managed to trace the roots of this extreme allergy to a time in her life when she had been viciously beaten and verbally abused by a man she was in an abusive relationship with. However, it wasn’t the attack itself that triggered the allergy. Following this event, she was sent to a safe house to protect her from her partner. Here, she was around people continuously drinking coffee. Thereafter, the smell of the coffee in the present would trigger her fear and trauma from that dangerous time of her life, which she had subconsciously associated with coffee, thus creating the allergy.[20]

“What tends to happen,” says Dawson, “is that if a person is eating a food at the same time that something stressful happens, the body associates the food with danger or stress, and starts rejecting it as dangerous…Issues such as these are easily resolved with Matrix Reimprinting and the allergies disappear.”[21]

Even more interesting to me is the way that someone’s basic eye-brain perception (construction) of the world can be fundamentally altered through the resolution of old trauma and reprogrammed beliefs—our beliefs literally shape and inform our raw perception of the world. In short, we “see” our neurology, not reality as it is.

I have seen an amazing example of this with a friend of mine who stated after targeting a particular ECHO with MR that somehow the city she was living in seemed bigger and more open; less claustrophobic. She was no longer plagued by an irrational tendency to burst into tears simply from driving on the roads in familiar suburbs. Her subconscious mind had clearly learned over the course of many years of traumatized life (starting as a small child) to associate virtually the entire city with fear, dread, danger, and the need to escape, and yet MR completely resolved this problem in very little time.

MR also (through the use of many self-applied sessions and several working with Caroline Paulzen) resolved for my friend—by about 90%—a problem with disordered eating in which her throat would close and force her to gag and be unable to swallow solid food. On her worst days she even struggled to drink water through a straw and her weight dropped dramatically, but multiple MR sessions over a period of months brought her back to being able to eat or drink virtually anything with ease the majority of the time. She states that it saved her life where nothing else (not even regular EFT) was helping.

Psych-K: Enter the Woo

Psych-K (PK) was “created” (or should we say “downloaded”?) by former businessman-cum-kinesiologist Rob Williams in 1988. It utilizes the mind-body interface of muscle testing (kinesiology), as well as left-brain/right-brain integration techniques to trigger rapid and lasting psychological changes by selectively replacing self-limiting programs/beliefs running in the subconscious mind with more positive and constructive ones, while facilitating a whole-brain state.

Williams didn’t so much “develop” Psych-K as experience it in a vision in his mind’s eye, in a moment of frustration and rage (at himself). Rhetorically asking “God” what he was supposed to do, Williams was surprised to immediately find himself perceiving mental imagery in the form of a scroll containing what would become the PK technique. Sensing the importance of this new information, Williams ran back to his computer and proceeded to type it all out. Thus, the PK protocols entered the world.[22]

Though it appears that Psych-K has not been as extensively tested in scientific scenarios as some other modes of EP, there is no shortage of positive reports from facilitators and clients—as well as endorsements from cell biologist and author Bruce Lipton. Until 1990, Lipton had not fully realised the power of the subconscious mind and the crucial role it played in the process of psychological change. After experiencing how efficient Psych-K is as a brain and belief change tool, he became a vocal advocate.[23]

I will share a Psych-K story I was able to witness up close. I have a friend who long had difficulties retrieving information in the form of words on a page or screen—from since she was a child, in fact. Her eyes would dart about randomly, preventing the attainment of any meaning from the semantic structures in front of her. The resulting inability to retrieve information by reading was a source of bruised self-esteem and contributed to her belief that she was “dumb.” Thus, following her attendance at a PK facilitator course over a weekend in September 2012, my friend—aged 35—performed a PK “balance” on herself. The affirmation she used (a widely known one) was simply: “I am a genius and I apply my wisdom.” (You may have heard John Demartini share it.)

The process took a mere handful of minutes—long enough that she felt something shift inside, at which point the process is considered to be complete (this part of the process is highly subjective). Quite simply, after this balance was performed, my friend was immediately able to look at words and sentences without her eyes darting uncontrollably around the page they were on. She could actually read and retain the information—something she had not done with ease for longer than she could remember.

One of the other interesting aspects of PK is that it can be applied remotely through the process of “surrogation,” defined by Williams as “a process based on creating a ‘link up’ between the subject’s Higher Mind (Superconscious Mind) and that of a willing surrogate.”[24] The surrogate may be the PK facilitator or another willing participant—the results are the same. The fact that facilitator and client may be far removed physically and the facilitator (or someone else) taking the place of the client means nothing in a completely nonlocally integrated universe in which all parts of the whole are connected. It is also worthy of note that one can act as a surrogate for their own inner child or “ECHO.”

Preliminary research into brainwave changes through Psych-K techniques (including surrogation) was carried out in early 2010 by Dr Jeffrey Fannin, Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Cognitive Enhancement, in collaboration with Rob Williams. Fannin is board certified in neuropathy and has been “devoted to the complex practice of mapping and analyzing the brain and training it for optimal health and performance” for around 14 years.[25]He collaborated with Williams in an effort to determine whether EEG could be used to quantitatively map brainwave changes resulting from PK.

Initially, Fannin used EEG to scan his own brain both pre- and post-Psych-K and found what he termed a “major shift in energy” at 1 Hz in the Delta range and at 14–17 Hz towards the lower end of the Beta region. Following these scans, Fannin performed a complex independent t-test involving millions of data points and constructed brain maps of his pre- and post-Psych-K states. (Figure 2)

Given the marked differences in “before” and “after” scans, Fannin felt there was clearly something to the Psych-K phenomenon and decided to see what would happen using surrogation with remote participants. Fannin first scanned Williams before and during Psych-K surrogation, and then used several volunteers at his Glendale, Arizona clinic, who wanted to experience the surrogation process as recipients. On all occasions the pre- and during Psych-K brain maps show marked differences in brainwave activity patterns.

Fannin states that “it is clear that there is some phenomenon present that is unique, consistent and measureable with a high degree of accuracy and statistical relevance…Now there is concrete scientific validation that the changes are actually occurring in the brain![26](emphasis in original)

This was and is just as much the case for surrogation involving far removed recipients where the facilitator is effectively substituting for them and performing the procedure on themselves on the recipient’s behalf as it is for Psych-K done in person without surrogation. The facilitator’s, surrogate’s, and recipient’s brains are entangled and bound as one nonlocally integrated system. All that is needed is the intention to connect in such a way (as I show in my book The Grand Illusion).

In August of 2012, Fannin and Williams had a research paper published in the International Journal of Management and Business in which they detailed the successful application of PK techniques in the business/corporate arena. They had documented 125 cases over 12 months in 3 different locations with significant results at less than 1% chance.

Here I present the “before” and “after” t-test image resulting from the EEG scans of a female office manager with over ten years experience in the role (Figure 2). Prior to the PK balance, her neural activity (in red) was very much oriented in the left hemisphere. Her management style was “my way or the highway,” she was demanding and prone to outbursts of uncontrollable anger towards her subordinates, strictly logically oriented, and lacked empathy.

After the PK balance, the dominant pattern (in blue) reveals access to the right “emotional” hemisphere. Resultantly, her consideration of others improved, and her interpersonal relationships both in the office and at home also improved. Her leadership abilities flourished as she shifted to a more balanced and integrated “whole-brain state” and she became well liked; the office ran better, with increased efficiency and productivity. 98% of the individual cases in this study yielded statistically significant correlations demonstrating the difference between the pre- and post-PK intervention brain states.[27]

Figure 2. T-tests show the difference in brain states between pre- (red) and post-PK (blue) intervention in a female office manager

Billions to be Saved: Economics and Epigenetics

The costs of health care could be massively diminished through a wider use of EP modalities. Another study that tracked the clinical outcomes of 714 patients treated by seven therapists using TFT in an HMO setting found that the resulting decreased subjective distress was far beyond chance for 31 of 32 psychiatric diagnostic categories including anxiety, major depression, alcohol cravings, and PTSD. Church states that if such therapies were available as a part of routine treatment, the savings from the cost of alcoholism and depression alone would far outweigh the costs of EP treatments.[28]

Potentially, major international or factional conflicts could be defused at the scale of individuals and small groups before they ignite to engulf entire cities and countries.

In an editorial in Energy Psychology Journal, Church further elaborates on the potential socioeconomic benefits of a wider employment of EP practices, stating that a projection of results from multiple studies into depression, anxiety, pain and PTSD, “suggests that [America] would save at least $65 billion annually by adopting EP interventions in primary care.”[29] (emphasis added)

EP practices have a habit of working where nothing else will—and that is in fact the unofficial motto for EFT.

Profit-driven pharmaceutical companies—whose business models are geared towards perpetual disease management—stand to lose a lot of business in the long run as we embrace EP, and the benefit to society from healing millions of the “walking wounded” around the world will be incalculable. Health care costs will dive and billions of dollars will be saved and redirected elsewhere, and that’s just the beginning. The incidence of otherwise inevitable diseases that could be nipped in the bud well in advance of the advent of physical symptoms using EP is huge. Disease-induced suffering can be slashed and the collective quality of life quotient increased significantly.

Epigenetics has shown us that our genes are constantly responding to various forms of environmental stimuli, including emotional distress (as well as movement, touch, mental activity, sleep-wake cycles and more). “As well as many genes being involved in most changes of state, different genes are often involved in different time periods of that change of state…[F]rom second to second, genetic cascades are turned on or off by our experience.”[30]

For example, a team of researchers investigating the epigenetic effects of relaxation at Harvard Medical School showed that individuals who were taught over 8 weeks to deliberately elicit the relaxation response (RR) thereby changed the expression of over 1,500 specific genes as compared with their status prior to RR training. The subjects were given RR training, background information on the RR and the stress response it is used to ameliorate, and listened to a RR-eliciting CD on average for 17.5 minutes per day.[31]

These kinds of behavioral state-related epigenetic shifts may go a long way to explaining why, for example, someone diagnosed with “terminal” cancer who decides to treat themselves by doing something as simple as watching their favourite funny movies and TV shows for hours every day could actually succeed in healing themselves through laughter, as in at least one case I came across years ago.

Such self-directed epigenetic shifts as those seen in the Harvard research offer empirical evidence of the value of EP interventions in favourably modulating genetic expression to counteract (or prevent) undesirable psychogenic epigenetic changes, and thus slashing the risk of many diseases. (Roughly 95% of disease is not hereditary, but environmentally triggered.)

The promise of EP is truly vast. The revolution is upon us.

A Brief Exploration of Human Desire

The Power of Desire | The Fearless HustleWhen we consider the many facets of desire, we can see just how complex they can be and how they also can act as a driving force behind the actions we take or do not take, in our lives towards that which we want most.

Why we desire things can vary from person to person and some of us might only consider our desires to be those naughty things we’d perhaps like to try in the bedroom someday. But desires go way beyond the bedroom and if truly pursued can seriously change your life in some majorly positive ways.

Now, it’s important to understand the difference between desire and infatuation. Infatuation is simply entertaining that part of us that thinks we are not good enough and so we project our insecurity onto someone else whom we’ve convinced ourselves is the epitome of all we’d like ourselves to be. When we are following that kind of energy, it’s coming directly from the ego, not from heart or Spirit and can often leave us feeling even more insecure as we form beliefs we must always be comparing ourselves to others, or living up to some proverbial expectation of perfection we’ve created in our minds.

Desire, TRUE desire comes from the lower chakras and you can feel pulling from deep in your Soul when you get that “gut” feeling that something was definitely meant for you. When you love doing something so much it just brings you immeasurable joy when you connect to in a loving, creative space. Desire, while it resonates with yearning and longing, is an outward expression of being open to connecting. It is not reaching from a place of need but from a place of curious anticipation for the raw experience.

What is your deepest desire?

When we are following our desires for the first time, it can be quite exciting! If we’ve lived a mostly reserved life where we always quieted that voice wanting us to take certain chances and risks when it came to love, work, etc. then the first time is something you will always remember. And yes I totally meant for that to sound cliché lol because it seriously can be as exciting as your “first time”. Your adrenaline is rushing through your veins; you’re in an almost altered state of bliss where time stops and nothing else exists but the moment…

Desires come from the various structures of life (love, finances, spiritual growth, health, etc.) and can look quite different depending on their area of origin. I think it’s safe to say that most of us would like to think that we are giving all areas the equal attention it deserves, but where our lives feel “out of balance” can give us the most clues as to where in our lives we are NOT following our desires.

You might think it’s impossible to have harmony in each area of your life simultaneously, however, once you begin to act on your desires, which some people may even call “following your dreams” in certain circumstances, you will begin to see how the Universe actually strives to be in balance, and since you are a sliver of the Universe itself, your life is not excluded from this divine infinite intention.

The key is surrendering to the call of your heart. Tuning in to the call is a matter of learning how you receive information. Some people feel warmth or cold, some hear actual words or frequencies, while others see colors or visions in their minds. It’s all a matter of being willing to ASK, and then perhaps the most difficult part; stepping back and letting go of “the how”. Instead simply trusting that you will get your answer, however, you MUST be clear when you are asking questions as there are no such things as cosmic innuendos or subtleties. You must be as clear and concise as possible and you will receive just as clear and concise answers. From where? The answers you seek always come from within you; it’s just a matter of how you connect with your Higher Self that determines how they are then communicated to your waking consciousness and even your Sub-conscious mind. Deepak Chopra Quote: “Everything I desire is within me.” (12 ...

Acting on these feelings, words, visions that you receive will only allow your connection to gain strength and this will ultimately allow you to trust yourself in a way that gives you the confidence to shine and share your gifts with the world. You may even be inspired to teach or coach others to do the same because it just feels so good to live authentically! “Inspire Desire!” 🙂

Have a fabulous weekend, everyone & I hope you connect with your deepest desires!  There’s no time like NOW! <3

12 Steps to Fully Recover from Extreme Burnout or Chronic Fatigue

By Jordan Gray | Jordan Gray Consulting

Are you currently experiencing extreme burnout? Have you been googling things like “adrenal fatigue”, “how to rest”, and “extreme tiredness”?

Whether you’re experiencing burnout from a place of workaholism-induced fatigue, situational depression, or a chronic (i.e. multi-year) lack of rest, this article will go into the twelve things that you can do to recover from your burnout faster than you thought possible.

My Extreme Burnout Experience

For the first three years of starting up my business, I barely took a day off. And I really mean barely. Even saying barely feels generous.

My best guess is that within my first three years of writing online, I may have had a total of ten days where I actually did zero work.

And while I feel so grateful to have the kind of job where I wouldn’t want to take many days off from work, and a job where the time flexibility is so great that I am able to chip away at it on a daily basis, ultimately I am not a robot. Eventually, my plans of constant productivity came crashing down around me.

Throughout the majority of my third year in business, I had a sense of feeling tired but also wired. It felt like my body wanted to take a ten-hour sleep but I couldn’t because I had just consumed six cups of coffee. Which was strange because I don’t drink tea, coffee, or caffeine in any form. Nevertheless, this underlying message from my cells screaming out for rest went unheeded.

Then, one day, my body demanded that I pay attention…

It was a Wednesday morning that I woke up from an unusually long sleep (a full eight hours – gasp!) still feeling exhausted.

My body felt heavy… so heavy that I felt like I had woken up three times heavier than I had been when I went to sleep.

My brain felt foggy and exhausted. Stringing a complete sentence together was challenging.

The idea of getting out of bed to make myself breakfast felt impossible.

I felt so lifeless that I thought about calling an ambulance. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. I felt emergency-room tired.

I called up one of my closest friends who I knew had experienced multiple forms of extreme burnout and fatigue over the previous years and asked her opinion of what was happening to me.

Her advice was a blur… but I remember her saying things like “adrenal fatigue”, “burnout”, and “you’re probably going to have to become your own doctor over the next few months.”

She was right. Regardless of what you label this burnout phase as (adrenal fatigue, burnout, exhaustion, etc.), I became my own doctor for the following couple of months and earned my way back to health.

Over the following two weeks, I subjected myself to a battery of tests from doctors, naturopaths, and other healers… and nothing showed up. My blood work was pristine. I didn’t have mono. I wasn’t depressed. I was just… exhausted.

The best advice that I got from my doctor was to take some time off for a while. And while rest and relaxation is a sound solution for most ailments, I knew that I wanted to do more to be proactive in my recovery.

Through my rounds of experimentation, I tried supplements, lifestyle changes, and a bunch of fringe hippy stuff. Throughout it all, I noticed what moved the needle for me and what didn’t.

Without further ado, here are the twelve highest leverage things that I did to recover from my bout of extreme burnout.

12 Steps To Fully Recover From Extreme Burnout Or Fatigue

morning routine, extreme burnout

I saw two naturopaths and one doctor that told me that it would likely take me anywhere from 6-12 months to fully recover from my state of fatigue. By adhering to the following protocol, I noticed a significant uptick in my energy levels within 2-3 weeks and felt almost 100% in under two months.

1. Decide to make your health your number one priority

I believe that illnesses are what happens to our bodies when we’ve been ignoring their messages for too long.

When you reach a point of extreme burnout, you’re there because you’ve been overriding your body’s message to slow down and rest for too long. It seems no other way than to stop you dead in your tracks and make you listen.

It is imperative that you make the conscious decision that you are going to listen to your body and make your health your number one priority from now on. Not just until you feel a bit better so that you can get back to your ‘normal’ life… but literally from now on.

This is a wake-up call. It’s time for you to create some fundamental shifts in your life that will see you honoring your health more on a daily basis. No more taking your health for granted… it’s time for a real change.

2. Take an actual break to reset your nervous system

There are likely a handful of things in your life that you’ve been engaging in that have been draining your metaphorical batteries for a while now. In order to earn your way back to a clean bill of health, you must begin by taking a proper break from the things that have been exhausting you.

Take a two-week break from work. Start saying no to social events that drain you. Pass off your least favorite responsibilities to someone else for a while.

Yes, people will be disappointed with you. But your health comes first. Full stop.

3. Reach out for help

If you’ve reached a place of full-on burnout, it’s highly likely that you’ve been shouldering too much for a long time.

Do you find it difficult to ask for help? Do you feel like no one has your back? Do you live by the moniker ‘If you want something done right, do it yourself’?

Stop trying to do life on your own.

feeling your feelings, sexual addiction, sex addiction, extreme burnout

Ask your friends for support. Tell your family members or close confidants that you’re struggling.

Let people in. There is probably a flood of people who would want to help you with your situation if they only knew how much you needed their help.

We are a social species. We need each other to thrive. You are no exception.

Reach out to a handful of people and ask for their help. Start now.

4. Build a team of healers to help you on your journey

It took more than one factor to get you to this place of burnout, and it’s likely going to take more than one form of treatment to help you get better.

On my personal journey, I visited a medical doctor, two naturopaths, a registered massage therapist, an acupuncturist, an energy healer, and a therapist. I made healing my full-time job… and I knew that having a dedicated team of healers around me would expedite my process.

While I’m not guaranteeing you’ll need more than a simple visit to your doctor to get the clarity that you’re looking for, it never hurts to get multiple opinions and tests done, just to rule out various health factors.

Healing your physical body from extreme burnout is a war of attrition, not a war of annihilation. Put in another way, lots of little things are going to add up to helping you to heal, more likely than it is that you’ll find one magic bullet to heal you right away (as nice as that would be).

So enlist help. Yes, friends and family… but also enlist the aid of people who help others heal professionally.

5. Regularly engage in slow, gentle forms of exercise

The health benefits of exercise are innumerable… but when you’re in a phase of extreme burnout it can be challenging to get out of bed, let alone get yourself to the gym to have a personal trainer kick your butt around the room for a full hour.

When it comes to getting your blood flowing during your burnout recovery, ease is the name of the game.

terrifying, point of life, extreme burnout
Mmmm… you might want to try something more relaxing than this.

Engage in exercise for short periods of time, without pushing yourself too hard.

Go for slow walks away from traffic noise. Stretch for a few minutes on the ground in your living room. Go for a walk in the forest with a friend. Practice yoga from home. Dance around your home to a song that you like. Try one of these three lazy workouts.

If you find yourself even more tired the day after your workout, you may have been pushing a bit too hard. Whatever form of exercise you engage in, make sure you aren’t over exerting yourself.

6. Make room for play and laughter in your life

Laughter is like an instant vacation.

If you’re chronically waking up and barely able to function, life can seem pretty unmanageable and certainly not very funny.

But it’s important to do whatever you can to prioritize laughter and play in your life.

Watch stand up comedy (live, or online). Invite your most hilarious friends over for breakfast. Go see professional improvisational comics do their thing.

Whatever it is that tends to tickle your funny bone, put it on your calendar and make it happen.

7. Question and re-prioritize your values

Whatever millions of little decisions that led you to your particular form of burnout, the root cause of you have gotten there is most likely, at least in part, screwy values.

As an example, if you value financial gain over your health, sooner or later it’s going to bite you on the ass.

Take a moment to sit with the question “What have I been valuing that has led me to this place of extreme burnout?”

If you want to read more on the topic of prioritizing healthy values for your life, I strongly recommend reading The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson. The title makes it sound like a cutesy pop-psychology book, but really it’s just an epic primer on discovering and prioritizing durable, healthy core values.

8. Eat small meals frequently to avoid sugar spikes

During your burnout recovery, you want to ensure that you’re being as gentle with your blood sugar levels as possible.

The worst thing you could do is consume two or three massive, overly processed meals per day. The best thing you can do is eat four to six small, nutrient-dense meals per day. More on this in the next two points.

9. Eat these five foods more often

On top of a generally healthy, nutrient-dense palate of foods, throughout my research, I found a handful of foods that contributed to burnout recovery the best.

– Pasteur raised egg yolks

Organic, grass-fed bone broth

– Avocado / organic avocado oil

Organic pumpkin seeds

Flax seeds/flaxseed oil

Buy organic whenever possible (for the above five foods, and what you eat in general).

And for an example of what an overall healthy meal plan looks like, check out my article The Better Sex Diet: Exactly What I Eat Every Day.

10. Avoid processed sugar, caffeine, and any other stimulants or drugs

Again, in line with taking it easy on your blood sugar levels, you want to ensure that you’re avoiding all refined sugar, caffeine, and any other stimulants or drugs. No alcohol, smoking, or junk food.

This might sound challenging to you, but it’s necessary. In terms of your burnout recovery, there’s more flexibility with sugar than there is with drugs, alcohol, and caffeine… but truly do your best to avoid all of the above, especially during the first 2-4 weeks of your recovery.

If you find yourself having a craving for junk food, just drink a liter of lemon water, eat some coconut oil and/or cashew butter, and take a nap. Believe me, your body will be much happier with you.

GPS of the Psyche: Using the Ego to Navigate Towards Healing & Growth

Image result for healthy egoMost of us have at least heard of the ego and most of us have probably had a negative impression of what it is as well. Sigmund Freud’s work with the human ego or “id” (ID or identity; personality construct) tells us that it’s development is a necessary part of who we are.  Without it, there is no “I” for us to identify with. Freud goes on to claim that without the ego, our minds would have no conscious way to comprehend where “we” end and the rest of the world “begins”.

“The ego is not master in its own house.” – Sigmund Freud

I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Freud’s (more so around his less-popular theories on sexuality) and completely agree that without our egos, we would all be leaning toward completely unmotivated. The ego, if used properly as the tool is it meant to be, can show us areas within ourselves that still need healing. The trick, however, to working with the ego is to remember that it does WHATEVER it takes to prevent expansion, growth, change and pretty much anything outside of your comfort zone. It is an expert at convincing you that you are making good, productive choices for yourself when in actuality you literally could be setting lit matches to your proverbial tree-house.

So, the key here is to first study the ego and figure out exactly how it works and maneuvers. Guaranteed it is always sneaky, coercive, and slick in how it will make suggestions for your next move, word or action. But once we know how it works, we’ve pretty much disabled out ego’s best weapon (stealth). And now, we just need to keep playing the game and observing.

As we watch our ego in play we will begin to see patterns emerge which will make clear exactly how we are “still stuck” in life situations we swore to ourselves we would’ve had resolved weeks, months or even years ago. We will begin to see how our ego was the one whispering in our ear that “He’ll change and treat me with kindness if I just stick around long enough and prove how much I love him.” or “I deserve to eat this tub of ice cream because I had such a bad day today.”

“You can either be a host to God or a hostage to your ego. It’s your call.” – Wayne Dyer

There are ENDLESS examples that I could list here, but the point is, anything you can think of where you’re subconscious mind convinced you to do something that was not in your best interest, or something that was not serving your highest Self, rest-assured it was the workings of your EGO doing what it does best and keeping you in the same little box it has grown to love and adore to keep you living small!

So…how do we beat this little trickster at its’ own game? First, we need to find that place in our hearts to stop looking at the ego through eyes of judgment and see it through the eyes of love. Only then can we shift the energy around our ego from one of annoyance and avoidance to one of willingness to integrate what we can learn from it. And eventually, this process will allow us to grow past the blocks that the ego has previously succeeded in throwing onto our path.

When we know ahead of time the signature signs that certain thoughts, motivations, reactions, etc. are ego-driven, then we are empowered with the knowledge of how to take the next best step. And an uninformed person with a leading ego might end up writing a bunch of accusatory emails they later regret, or shout at their children for no reason, or sabotage a health regimen they’ve put in place for themselves. Why? Because their ego was successful in convincing them it was in their best interest in that particular moment, and because they were in “reactive” mode (letting the outer world determine their moods, thoughts, next move, etc.) they went with it.

This is the difference between living a life of struggle and living a life of true empowerment. As we learn to master the latter, of course, we may shift back and forth between the two as with anything it’s definitely a learning process. However, the more you take the time to observe yourself and your ego the more familiar you become with it all and the simpler it becomes to stay in PRO-active mode.

Once you get a taste of empowered living, there’s no giving that up, there’s no going back to sleep. It would be like locking away your most valuable tool and never using it again; because you have seen how when you move from a proactive, empowered place, the game is yours and YOU now make the rules. Do you feel the difference there? Between an insecure, needy, fear-based ego and secured, empowered, healthy ego? Image result for healthy ego

I truly believe the ego is meant to help humanity, not harm it. It is only when we as individuals allow our minds and actions to be ruled by ego does it negatively affect our lives and the lives of those around us. But the ego is best used as a compass of sorts, pointing the way to what areas within us need healing and integration so we can rise up energetically and show up in our lives as we were meant to; connected, yet unique slivers of cosmic Creator Consciousness.

If we listen closely, there is another voice underneath the egos’ loudness that speaks only Truth and has only our best interest in mind. This voice belongs to our intuition, our Higher Selves (Spirit) and if we wish to master the use of our egos, it is wise to let it be guided by Spirit. This is how we develop “healthy” egos that allow us to speak up for ourselves, say no to people with feeling guilty, say yes to people without feeling drained, speak our Truth, and stand authentically in our lives without feeling insecure or feeling the need to incessantly compare ourselves to others.

Another gauge of a healthy ego is that we are okay spending time with ourselves and doing things on our own. We really only feel the need to reach out for assistance when truly necessary and learn to truly value the time, energy and presence of others – because that is how much we now value our own time, energy and presence.

One Resents, One Receives: Observing the Effects of a Closed vs. Open Heart

Image result for open heart quoteAs it goes, the Universe is set up in such a way that when we need to keep our hearts open the most, it is during the most absolute difficult times to do so. Those times we may be struggling to find our self-worth or confidence because while we know how good appreciation and respect feel, we still rely on getting it from others to make us feel secure in ourselves.

Or it may be times we are triggered from an old wound and therefore have issues connecting with someone that reminds us of someone else who may have caused us pain in the past. Or perhaps they remind us of someone we’ve hurt and therefore we have in fact closed off our own heart to ourselves when it comes to forgiveness.

Whatever the case, we all know how shitty it feels to carry around those heavy emotions such as regret, guilt, anger, resentment, and feelings of lack, not being good enough and for some reason, we have set ourselves to believe that while it’s justified to fly off the handle at someone else making us angry or causing us pain, we numb ourselves to the daily discord in our lives caused by our very own hand.

However, by allowing ourselves to reign over our own feelings, we are also allowing ourselves to be the observational gatekeepers of our own hearts.

In fact, while no one else can ever really make us actually feel anything, we humans have grown accustomed to being the mirrors we are. This is innately how we do relate to one another in our relationships and the world at large. However, beyond the works of Jung and our good old friend the Ego, we not only reflect back our unhealed wounds, our perceptions, our judgments, and our insecurities but also on the positive front, the things we adore and admire in others.

A perfect example that often goes overlooked is when we envy another person. We often get caught up in the “negative” feelings of not being that person, or resenting them for having something or being a certain way we feel or believe we are not, but in truth of the highest order, it is not possible to even see something admirable in another, to even recognize it, unless it already exists within you! Read that again if you have to, but yes this is true!

You see, when we see another person acting in a way that makes us feel jealous, it is simply triggering a part within ourselves that is itching to emerge! A dormant part of our being that would love to come out and play if only we would give it the attention and time to grow that it deserves to come to the surface and flourish. Being jealous and resentful is simply the ego’s way of avoiding the work! It keeps us from changing and keeps us living small and in the same place in our lives where we are free to continue our same story; complaining about how much everyone else has and how much we lack. It gives us an outer focal point, rather than an insightful observation inward. Image result for open heart quote

But if we just look again…if we just shift our perceptions and get out of our heads and back into our hearts, amazing things begin to happen, because when we look at the world and ourselves with an open heart we are seeing things now as they really are, not as we perceive them to be or wish them to be. And the more we do this consciously, the more we make the choice to stop letting our emotions and preconceived ideas rule us and keep our inner world illusions going, the more we tear down the holographic wall of our minds.

Observing the world, other people and ourselves (where we must first start this journey) with an open heart does not take away our power, but actually fills up our reserves and gives us a never-ending supply! Our heart produces the largest electrical field in the body and it’s because in our most minute levels of existence, in our most basic atomic form, we ARE energy and we are all constantly communicating with one another whether we are aware of it or not.

This is how we pick up on “vibes” or intuition and gut feelings. And when we learn to not ignore these feelings, our heart begins to naturally open as our trust in our very relationship with ourselves begins to build. This is how we develop a healthy self-image and how we stop unconsciously reflecting the illusions we think we are to the world and begin consciously projecting the love we now know we are instead.

Big Pharma, Little Humanity: Sick Care vs. Holistic Health

Image result for big pharmaWhile this isn’t a topic I often write about, it is one close to my heart as well as one in which I feel is long overdue an acknowledgment. What I’ve learned in my 40 years on this Earth is that when people feel empowered, rely on their inner-voice and intuition (dare I say “animal instincts”?), and understand that all illness and disease have root causes, they are predictably more likely to overcome an illness, to heal a disease, and to even progress significantly in their lives.

It makes me smile to see that within my lifetime, the so-called “healthcare” industry is re-opening the doors to Eastern Medicine, Aboriginal ways, and holistic methods of treating wounds, whether they be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Image result for holistic health

It has always confused me to know that the worlds of science and spirituality are at odds with one another. And the more I learned in each area, the more baffled I became. It was crystal clear to me that the questions in which science has been asking can often be answered by theosophical means, and vice versa.

When I began to merge and incorporate habits and beliefs from both realms, I also began to make significant connections to how the Universe itself performs the undeniable magic via forms and forces of energy and electromagnetism. The mathematical symmetry found everywhere in nature (the Fibonacci Spiral and Phi Ratio) proves to be as scientifically fascinating in its infinite structure as much as it is divinely breath-taking.

The patterns and forms found in every crevice of reality follow a universal rule of creation, nature, and growth. I honestly believe that this is why there isn’t one person who could deny the innately curious draw to nature. In some form or another, we all seem to reach for the forces of nature to which we can dance, create and reset our mental woes.

“You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the Universe is your responsibility. The only understanding of the Universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.” – Terence McKenna

It’s no wonder that the most effective remedies to date (in my humble opinion and experience) remain to be found within holistic, and often ancient techniques including herbalism (oils, salves, tinctures, etc.), the harnessing of Chi or “Ki” energy to literally pull or repel people, experiences, etc. into or out of our lives.

I’ve been a Reiki Master for almost 20 years now. And while I can appreciate the man-made medicine undertones and history which lies beneath the corporate pharmacy, also know as “Big Pharma”, within the last 100 years, our so-called Hippocratic Oath has become a laughing stock of what it was upon its conception.

Nowadays, it is not uncommon for physicians to prescribe medications that are unneeded or dangerous simply to make a quota which moves them closer to that bonus and all expenses paid vacations. When did the true will of conscious humanity and healthcare get so “diseased” within itself, that the focus has been less on bettering the system, and more so on building the system into a profit-driven public nightmare?

Image result for psilocybin mushroomsI am happy to report that there are growing numbers of natural and holistic medicine coming back into social normality. With the rising number of states legalizing cannabis to the acceptance of hallucinogenic plants such as psilocybin mushrooms and ayahuasca tea to assist with depression, anxiety and PTSD, we continue to see “the ancient, alchemical ways” rushing back into the mainstream.

I will continue to have hope that with each passing year, that more and more holistic techniques are studied, performed and offered a place in what used to be a system focused on bettering and empowering people to take back their health. While the focus had shifted for many decades, it is ignorant to deny that if we ignore what nature has provided us, then we will eventually hear the resentment and regrets of our future generations.

Image result for holistic health

Always remember that you are more powerful than you have ever been taught and that we are not slaves to our genetics. With more understanding of human stem cells due to the rise of Epigenetics, we can now admit that it is our actual thoughts, beliefs, and reactions to our environments that have the most effect on our bodies (physical, mental, energetic and spiritual) on the most Quantum, cellular level.

Have a healthy weekend, everyone! 🙂

Tuning Into the Intuitive Voice of Your Inner Child

Image result for inner childI recently told someone the story of how at first the Universe will whisper in your ear and if you don’t pay attention, it will then tap you on the shoulder. If you still refuse to look, it will proceed to take a lofty 2×4 to your head.

While the Universe is abundant and answers only to the vibration in which we are putting out a resonance, it sometimes can appear that it seriously has its own agenda against us. Especially when things continue to “keep happening” to us. However, I promise you that this is simply how we learn our life lessons here in the living Matrix of the third dimension, and while it’s not always pretty it always leaves a mark on your heart and a lesson in your soul; and frankly that is the entire point of being here in the first place.

It’s funny how one can be aware of and yet not embody knowledge to the point that you get a couple of 2×4‘s to the head at once and still your stubborn ass is traveling on listening to your ego telling you everything is fine as-is and don’t pay attention to that over there calling for ample opportunity for growth and positive change in your life! But for some of us, that is just how WE learn and that is okay too.

See, this is how we test ourselves. Yes, I said ourselves and we will continue to do so over and over in our lives until we realize that it is our own voice we are hearing deep inside calling out to remember who we really are; who we were before they all told us who we should be as children. The soul that might have layers of ancestral guilt to heal before getting to the juice of their true purpose here in this lifetime. The Spirit might have some confusion to work out before being able to make a heart-centered choice from a different stand-point.

That voice is what I’m sure we’ve all heard called before our “inner child”. That raw, un-filtered part of us that so dearly just wants to be loved and accepted as they are. The one that doesn’t want to be told to shut up because they have strange ideas or don’t fit in. The one that perhaps keeps those ideas to themselves now in fear of rejection. The one who’s voice has grown quieter over the years due to the addition of other people’s core beliefs as well as societal conditioning.

By the time we get into our 20‘s, we are merely cracked mirrors of our parents, teachers, those we idolize on TV, our friends, etc. For many of us, all we know is the opinions of others and tend to only hear the voices of those outside of ourselves when it comes to forming our self-worth and self-esteem and this causes hardship in discovering who we are and what our purpose is in life. We tend to begin to see and judge others this way too as-if we all pass around this proverbial filter we agree to see each other through and will promise to accept one another as long we continue to stay the same and conform.

No wonder in our 30‘s most of us feel like lost big children and since we have not heard our own voice is so long, we might even have forgotten what it sounds like at this point. I know I did for a while even though my entire life there was no doubt in my mind I was walking some sort of spiritual path that served a great purpose. I still felt unseen, unheard; like I was doing my “work” in the shadows per se and now is just beginning to birth my metamorphosis into the light; where the sound of my own voice is again a familiar sound and even one that I find comforting and trust.

We may feel like we lose our voices for many reasons, but usually, they stem back to the two main huge ones I’ve mentioned which are societal conditioning and the core beliefs instilled in us by our parents and other adults around us the most as we grow up. I’ve learned that it’s okay to listen to what another has got playing on their radio, and don’t disrespect someone by changing the station without asking, but by all means, if you don’t resonate with the music, then it’s seriously time to start playing your own…

I have many dreams and sometimes as an empath, it can feel overwhelming working on achieving them; (both my business and personal goals) and I know I’m not the first person alive to ever feel that way. But I began to realize that some dreams of mine were dying not merely because I was lacking in my effort, but rather it had to do with my intent. I was living for others. My motivation was laden with guilt. And while it’s great to want to make other people happy and proud, you eventually come to learn to trust your own voice and know that people will either hear you or they won’t. What matters is that YOU never stop listening! 🙂

How To Experience Full Frequency Living

We all feel as if life can get a bit monotonous once in a while. But when that once in a while begins to fade into the norm, life can start to feel draining rather than nourishing, and who the hell wants that, right? We all inherently know on some level that the whole point here is to find that warm fuzzy feeling, the love we feel and see in the eyes our children, our lovers, our dying grandmothers…within ourselves. And honestly, it is only when we forget that fact that life ever seems to appear routine…

Image result for attitude is everythingI know it is beyond cliche, yet it remains a cornerstone of excellent advice when it comes to spiritual growth, and so I’m going to share it here. That stroke of genius is this right here…ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Your attitude is what sets the vibrational frequency that you are emitting out into the world. Call it your own nonverbal signature that introduces you in the most honest way to people, whether either of you is consciously aware of it or not.

Your attitude is a choice to resonate with a certain frequency. Some are high and some are lower. The higher frequencies tend to open us up to communicate to our higher selves, spirit guides, astral beings and beings from higher dimensions, because these frequencies carry amazing feeling emotions and states of being such as love, gratitude, forgiveness, and peace which widen your receptive abilities, like zooming out a camera to view a wider perspective. Higher frequencies are expensive while lower ones are constricting. We can literally feel this in our bodies.

But contrary to what mainstream New Age news might suggest, I don’t always recommend staying in high frequencies, unless that is what your body is telling you and what feels right to you. Rather I do always recommend meditating on matching your own heart with the Earth’s frequency. I believe all frequencies serve their purpose or else we wouldn’t have access to them and our bodies wouldn’t respond to them and be able to work with them. The higher frequencies serve a purpose of healing, connection, direction, love, but I do not feel we need to necessarily “ascend” into them per se as we are already all-encompassing emotional, mental and spiritual beings, simply remembering who we are.

Humans feel and yes, humans think…a lot. But regardless of the implications of the famous quote by Descartes, “I think, therefore I am,” just thinking something doesn’t actually make it so. It turns out that for things to happen, there needs to be an initial cause. It turns out that for us to have the things that we want to show up in our lives to snap us out of monotony, WE need to show up first! So, one of the best ways to know things are about to get interesting in your life is after assessing your own pro-active involvement in it!

I truly believe none of us ever really grow up and that we are all just growing children until the day we die. With that being said, there are some things we learn and some things we don’t. Regardless, we ALL lose touch with who we are from time to time and fall into the trap of victimhood where we stop appreciating and start complaining. We all tend to find more ease in throwing energy into our problems than in attempts to find solutions as if we genuinely fear there may not even be one. Image result for vibrational frequency

The hardest lesson to learn and the easiest one to forget to live in the third-dimension is that the mere fact a problem exist also proves there is a solution, as 3-D reality is one of duality, polarity and NOTHING exists without its opposing (yet cosmically complimenting) counterpart. No, not even your problems!

When we begin to feel disconnected from our family, friends, lovers, or source of spiritual solace, what we are really feeling disconnected from is ourselves. This is always a time where your inner child is literally screaming for some attention. It is making you feel unsatisfied and bored in all facets so eventually, if you don’t catch on, you will have no direction to turn but inward. And when you finally do, you will see yourself, who’s been waiting for you all this time.

Looking at our own Soul in perhaps one of the most terrifying things a person can do. And yet we fight ourselves in the reflections of others each and every single day. We just may not be aware of the fact that this is what relationships are all about. Until facets of your own unhealed parts are looked upon, they will continue to be reflected back to you. When we are tired of being blinded by reflections, then sometimes we just gotta look to see.
