Vedic Astrology Report for September 2023: Clarity & Immense Transformation Ahead

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

In September, three planets change direction. Venus goes in direct motion on September 3, followed by Jupiter going retrograde on September 4. Mid-month Mercury goes direct on September 15. The nodes of the Moon, Rahu, and Ketu, station at 0 degrees Aries and Libra for several months as they prepare to change signs in November.

Venus, planet of relationship and finance, goes direct on September 3, 2023 at 18 degrees Cancer, having been retrograde since July 22, 2023. The Venus retrograde period was a time of reviewing our relationships, financial situations, and personal values in life. Developing greater self-love, and acknowledging the importance of honesty and kindness in relating with others was important during the Venus retrograde period. Now as Venus moves forward, hopefully, we have increased our capacity to create deeper, authentic connections with others and with the natural world.

Jupiter, planet of prosperity and spirituality, goes retrograde September 4, 2023, at 21 degrees Aries until December 30, 2023. When a planet is retrograde its influence becomes stronger inwardly, and we may find it easier to revise or correct circumstances to make things better. Retrograde planets demand deep, focused, internal work. However, Jupiter retrograde periods can sometimes bring frustration if things do not go as planned, especially regarding finances or promotions. This may be a good time to review your financial plans and spending habits.

When Jupiter is retrograde, we may experience some challenges with our confidence level or with our beliefs and philosophy about life. Don’t forget your true value and keep a positive attitude. Be realistic and stay confident. Don’t forget that Jupiter still supports us in a more internal way while retrograde, so this could be a great period of inner expansion, spiritual evolution, deep spiritual insight, and eventual rebirth. Jupiter retrograde is a good time for meditation and connecting to your “inner guru.”

Mercury, planet of communications and the intellect, goes direct on September 15, 2023, at 13 degrees Leo, having been retrograde since August 23, 2023. As Mercury slowly begins to move forward, it brings greater mental clarity and awareness, along with the ability to be more objective and discerning.

The nodes of the Moon, Rahu, and Ketu, become stationary on September 14, 2023, until November 28, 2023, when they shift signs. When the nodes are stationary, they stay at a degree for a period of time, and in this case, it is 2 ½ months. Normally the nodes travel backward or are retrograde. In this case, Rahu remains at 0 degrees Aries, while Ketu is at 0 degrees Libra. In addition, Rahu will be gandanta when at 0 degrees Aries, which is the cusp between a water sign (Pisces) and a fire sign (Aries). Rahu will station at this intense gandanta degree until the nodes change signs on November 28, 2023, indicating this 2 ½ month period is a time to be neutral and not resist change as we release long-held challenges and patterns in order to heal and move forward. These juncture degrees between water and fire signs can be portals of change and are known for creating immense transformation.

As Rahu, the north node of the Moon can increase our insatiable, worldly desires along with exaggeration of our thoughts and energies, it is recommended to be neutral, non-reactive, mentally clear, and practical, especially during this period of September 14 to November 28.  Don’t overextend yourself physically or mentally. Let go of any compulsive worry or anger tendencies. Be still, give yourself space. This is a period to trust your heart and intuition, and be open to healing in order to bring greater peace and compassion into our world.

Vedic Astrology Report for August 2023: Navigating Love in Retrograde

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

Venus, planet of relationship, is retrograde the whole month of August until September 3, 2023, and brings an opportunity to uncover your deepest truths about love. The Sun, aspected by Saturn and north node Rahu, begins its powerful yearly transit through its own sign of Leo from August 17 to September 17, 2023. Mercury, planet of communications goes retrograde August 23 to September 5, 2023.

Venus began its retrograde phase July 22 at 4 degrees Leo, and will remain retrograde the whole month of August until September 3, 2023. Venus retrograde periods help us to understand the deeper meaning of self-love and relationship, while uncovering past areas of challenge and misunderstandings that need to be healed, forgiven, and released. Do you need more time in your life for greater self-care? Do you have issues about lack of support in love and relationship? This is an especially positive transit to heal old, emotional traumas, and increase your self-worth. People, memories, and unfinished business from the past can resurface for completion and closure.

When a planet is retrograde it is closest to the earth, and so affects us on a more personal, internal level. Watch for too much romanticism or disappointment. Instead, review your ideas about love, and bring greater integrity, authenticity, and wholeness into all your relationships. Be patient with yourself and others. Practice compassion with everyone you meet, have gratitude, and remain balanced.

During the retrograde phase this month, Venus will eventually transit the gandanta degrees between the fire sign Leo and water sign Cancer. From August 5 to August 8, 2023, Venus transits 0 degrees Leo to 29 degrees Cancer, an extra sensitive time to let go of old, ancient karmic issues and misunderstandings about relationships, self-love, finances, and our values in life. The key is to practice non-resistance or neutrality as planets travel the gandanta degrees.

The Sun transits its own sign of Leo beginning August 17 until September 17, 2023, and this powerful transit brings increased vitality and heightened creativity. The Sun in Leo can be a time to develop greater confidence and determination. The Sun in Leo is generous and wants to inspire others. The shadow side of this transit brings resistance to change or stubborn pride.

While the Sun is in Leo it will be aspected by the north node Rahu in Aries and opposed by Saturn in Aquarius, two malefic planets. Rahu aspects the Sun exactly at 2 degrees on August 19 and can bring increased ambition or anxiety or fear.  The Saturn and the Sun opposition indicates possible power struggles or brings up feelings of imbalance and inequality. With both Saturn and Rahu aspects on the Sun we can experience increased pressures, stress, and change. Instead, be realistic, let go of judgments, do your duty, and stay focused.

Mercury, planet of communications, goes retrograde at 27 degrees Leo on August 23 until September 15, 2023. Communications could be confusing, or business interactions don’t go as planned. For clarity, double-check travel plans or what you put in writing.  Mercury retrograde is good for reviewing things, organizing your office, and completing projects we may have put on hold. Creative or right-brained activities such as painting and music are positive outlets now. Think before you speak. This is a good time for inner reflection, meditation, and contemplation.

Vedic Astrology Report for July 2023 – Transformation & Building a Deeper Connection with Nature

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

July is a transformative month as Venus goes retrograde on July 22, 2023 for six weeks, a time to review relationships and find our truest values in life. We are letting go of old patterns with love and money, in order to know ourselves more deeply. Mars transits the sign of Leo and opposes Saturn in Aquarius, which brings lessons of strength, neutrality, and stamina. We may also experience a few delays and frustrations along the way.

At the end of June, Mars, planet of action and energy, finally left Cancer, its sign of debility, and now begins its transit through the more powerful fire sign of Leo from June 31 to August 18, 2023. Mars in Leo is self-confident, action-oriented, and sometimes dramatic. Mars in Leo will be influenced by the opposition of Saturn in Aquarius, which tempers impatient Mars. The Saturn/Mars aspect can generate a push/pull energy, so at times you move forward, and then later may experience a temporary setback. The exact Saturn/Mars opposition occurs at 12 degrees Aquarius/Leo on July 20 and 21.

Mars in Leo brings courage, enthusiasm, and strength, and along with Saturn’s sense of self-discipline, awareness, and responsibility, helps us to focus on our authentic goals in life with great purpose. Remember that the highest expression of Saturn is to help create balance and equanimity in our lives in a neutral, peaceful way. Saturn is also retrograde now until September 3, 2023, a time to uncover and appreciate your hidden strengths. Don’t be too critical of yourself during this period. Let go of old energies that have become a burden, while building a new, more genuine foundation in your life.

On July 22, 2023, Venus, planet of love, relationship, and finance, goes retrograde until September 3, 2023, a major astrological event. Venus begins its retrograde period at 4 degrees Leo, but will eventually move back into the sign of Cancer on August 6. Venus is retrograde every 18 months, so only occurs every other year. When a planet is retrograde, it is common for issues from the past to resurface for review and completion. As Venus rules relationships, old patterns and unfinished business about love may surface for greater understanding and letting go. This can be a time to heal old wounds and move forward. We realize how valuable it is to have genuine and heartfelt connections with family and friends.

Venus retrograde periods are also times to focus on self-love and inner happiness, and not look outside of self for validation. Work on any personal insecurities or self-esteem issues that may be influencing your relationships. Treat yourself and others with kindness, compassion, and generosity, while building stronger connections built on trust.

Venus also rules finances, so this is a transit that can help us uncover our authentic values in life.  Revising your budget and spending habits is possible at this time. Venus also rules the arts, creativity, and nature, so participating in any type of artistic pursuit is favorable and is a great remedy. Our crucial partnership with the natural world is also a big focus now, so the emphasis is on developing innovative and creative ways to work in greater harmony and appreciation with our environment and Mother Nature.

Vedic Astrology Report for June 2023 – Important Astrological Activity

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

Mars, planet of action and assertiveness, is prominent the entire month of June, especially the last few days of the month when Mars reaches total debility in the sign of Cancer, and transits through the intense gandanta degrees between Cancer and Leo. Jupiter and Rahu conjunct exactly at the beginning of June, amplifying our financial situation. Saturn, the planet of discipline and focus, goes retrograde mid-June, a time of reviewing your responsibilities.

Jupiter, planet of spirituality, prosperity, and opportunity, conjuncts the north node Rahu in Aries exactly on June 1, 2023, at 9 degrees Aries. Both of these planets amplify while bringing a focus on material life. Jupiter tends to help and calm Rahu, but Rahu is not as helpful to Jupiter. It is time to be realistic and ethical with finances while uncovering our true values in life. Rahu will be with Jupiter in Aries until November 28, 2023.

Mars, planet of action, courage, and confrontation, has been transiting Cancer, its weakest sign, since May 10. Mars remains in Cancer until June 30, 2023, and will transit its exact degree of debility at 28 degrees Cancer on June 27 and 28. When planets are debilitated, they can act differently or contrary to their natural tendency.

We can experience less energy or become more frustrated or combative around this time. This is a period to practice neutrality and patience and be less reactive with others. When Mars is weak, we can feel our actions just don’t produce the results we expected, and we become disappointed, argumentative, or blame others. Especially with Mars in Cancer, old emotional wounds that center around family relationships can surface to be acknowledged and healed. This is a positive time to help families or loved ones in need to balance Mars in the emotionally sensitive sign of Cancer.

Then from June 29 to July 1, 2023, Mars transits the sensitive gandanta degrees of 29 Cancer to 0 Leo, the cusp between a water and fire sign, indicating a time to let go of old habits or patterns related to challenging Mars energies. This creates an opening for deep changes and a shift of perspective connected to old ways of working with conflicts, power, and control that just don’t work and harm others. This is a time to neutralize arguments and aggressive actions and instead focus on peaceful means to settle conflicts and disagreements. We have to rise to a new level of understanding and tap into a deeper sense of courage that involves our hearts. Mars in Cancer is great time to practice ahimsa, or non-violence, respecting all living things.

Saturn, planet of focus, responsibility, and discipline, goes retrograde on June 17 until November 4, 2023. While Saturn is retrograde it is a good time to review your personal responsibilities in life and make changes if need be. It may be easier now to access our inner strength and practice greater self-discipline and self-reliance. Don’t be so hard on yourself, and connect to supportive and encouraging people during Saturn retrograde. Meditation and being in the present moment are wonderful practices now.

Vedic Astrology Report for May 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

We begin May with a potent, illuminating lunar eclipse in Libra on May 5, 2023. Mars, planet of action, moves to its challenging sign of Cancer on May 10, 2023, and will aspect Saturn in Aquarius. This brings an emphasis on facing our responsibilities and taking appropriate actions. Mercury goes direct on May 14, having been retrograde since April 21, 2023, gives improved communications.

On May 5, 2023 at 10:34 AM PDT, we experience a lunar eclipse in Libra, the second eclipse of a pair. The previous eclipse occurred the evening of April 19, two weeks earlier. This lunar eclipse is at 20 degrees Libra, a cardinal air sign, in the nakshatra of Vishakha. As this eclipse occurs in a sign that rules balance and harmony, we become more aware of how polarized, stressed, and out of balance our world has become. This could motivate us to let go of extremism and focus more on harmony and peace. The nakshatra of Vishakha is symbolized as a “fork in the road” and indicates we may need to choose the best direction to take for our greater good and personal evolution, especially if our life is out of balance.

Eclipses are periods where events can be unpredictable, amplified, or hidden issues are revealed. Eclipses offer us a window of opportunity to address a situation or condition. Eclipses give us important learning experiences and opportunities for deeper awakening and understanding. In Vedic culture, eclipses are days for spiritual life, meditation, introspection, or retreat. Eclipses are generally not good days for mundane or material activities.

Mercury, planet of communications and travel, goes direct at 11 degrees Aries on the evening of May 14, 2023, having been retrograde since April 21. When Mercury goes direct it is easier to resolve any misunderstandings with others, correct mistakes, and forgive. You may experience greater mental clarity as Mercury slowly moves in direct motion.

Mars, planet of action and courage, begins its transit through its debilitated sign of Cancer beginning May 10 until Jun 30, 2023. Normally, Mars is energetic, ambitious, independent, and courageous. But debilitated planets can act differently or contrary to their natural tendency. Passive-aggressive tendencies can manifest or we find self-assertion difficult. If our desires and ambitions are not fulfilled in a timely manner, we can be prone to arguments, conflicts, and frustrations. Emotional sensitivity or old wounds that center around family relationships may surface to be healed.

To help the Mars transit through the sensitive sign of Cancer, be more mindful of how your actions affect others. Access the higher qualities of Mars by being more self-disciplined and focused. Debilitated planets can teach us the quality of humility, as we learn to relate to others without pride or excessive ego. Mars in Cancer can also bring less aggressiveness as we start to understand the power of mediation without physical conflict. While Mars is in Cancer, this is a great time to amplify your yoga practice or participate in conflict resolution courses. Stabilize your mind and emotions, and be in positive, loving environments. Practice non-violence or ahimsa, that brings great respect for all living things.

While Mars transits the sign of Cancer, it aspects Saturn in Aquarius. The exact aspect will be at 12 degrees Cancer from May 31 to June 2, 2023. Mars and Saturn are not so friendly with each other and we may question the actions we take, and wonder why things are not moving forward more smoothly. With Mars is moving through its debilitated sign and Saturn powerfully transiting its own sign of Aquarius, we may feel this imbalance of energy, and this can bring frustrations that are hard to express that increased stress. During this time be extra patient and mindful along with proper self-restraint. Practice generosity and compassion with self and others. Be conscious of what you allow in your space, and be with those who uplift and ground you.

Vedic Astrology Report for April 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

April is a big month of revelation and change due to the beginning of the spring eclipse season on April 19, followed by Jupiter starting a year-long transit through a new sign on April 21. But first on April 5, 2023, Venus, planet of relationships, begins its favorable transit through its own sign of Taurus. Mid-month the Sun makes its yearly transit through its exalted sign of Aries on April 14, 2023. Then on April 19, 2023, a powerful solar eclipse occurs in the fiery sign of Aries. A few days later two astrological events happen on April 21, 2023, when Jupiter, the great benefic, moves to the sign of Aries, and Mercury, planet of communications, turns retrograde for three weeks.

Venus, planet of love, relationships, diplomacy, and finance, enters the fixed earth sign of Taurus from April 5 until May 2, 2023. Venus is naturally very content, calm, and gentle in its own sign, which can soothe the sense of instability or loneliness many are experiencing. We enjoy being in supportive environments with close family and friends. In love relationships we want loyalty and commitment. Venus transiting the earth sign of Taurus likes gardening or spending time in nature. This is a positive transit for artistic, musical, or healing endeavors.

The Sun begins its annual transit through its exalted sign of Aries from April 14 until May 14, 2023. The Sun represents our connection to our true, innermost essence, so this is a time to realize and express our deepest nature, possibly through meditation or self-inquiry. The Sun rules the eastern direction, which brings the sense of new beginnings or possibilities we feel during this time of year. The Sun is a pitta planet and transiting the fiery, cardinal sign of Aries, so be aware of becoming impatient, too willful, or overly stimulated, and calmly release any surfacing frustrations.

A significant astrological shift occurs on April 21, 2023 when Jupiter begins its transit through the cardinal sign of Aries until May 1, 2024. Previously Jupiter has been in its own sign of Pisces since April 14, 2022. In general Jupiter stays in a sign a little over a year, so when Jupiter shifts signs, it is significant. In addition, Jupiter will transit the gandanta degrees of 29 Pisces and 0 degrees Aries from April 17 to April 26 as it shifts signs, and it will trine the other gandanta degrees in the zodiac. During this period its positive to release old, ancient patterns that prevent us from moving forward, for greater soul growth. Jupiter issues that can surface to heal and forgive could revolve around finances, our true values, fairness in the world, and spirituality.

Jupiter transiting Aries carries an increased need to feel free, to be our true ourselves, and act independently. This transit also brings a love of freedom and adventure. This is a great time to begin self-improvement goals, new healing therapies, or start an exercise regime. A new view of our spiritual self and redefining our authentic values is indicated. Jupiter in the cardinal fire sign of Aries can amplify the positive qualities of enthusiasm, confidence, inspiration, and courage. We value new innovations and a more direct and straight-forward approach to life. Jupiter in Mars-ruled Aries can also be opinionated and identifies strongly with their own personal beliefs, so watch for insensitivity and not considering a different point of view. We can be impatient and not learn from past mistakes.

Jupiter in Aries will be traveling with the north node Rahu in Aries until late November 2023, and Jupiter will also be aspected by Saturn in Aquarius the entire period it is in Aries, so these aspects will influence and temper the expression of Jupiter.

Mercury, planet of communications and education, goes retrograde at 21 degrees Aries on April 21 until May 14, 2023. In general, retrograde energies are expressed more internally. Mercury retrograde is a good time for reviewing things, organizing your office, and revisiting areas of your life that need to be changed. This is a time to release old habits and patterns that no longer serve us. Think before you speak as you may be misunderstood. It is best to start new ventures after it goes direct. This is a positive time for meditation, contemplation, and study.

April marks the start of the spring eclipse season with a solar eclipse at 5 degrees Aries on April 19, 2023, at 9:12 PM (PDT) in the nakshatra of Ashwini. This eclipse will be followed by a lunar eclipse next month on May 5, 2023 at 20 degrees Libra. The April 19 solar eclipse in Aries in Ashwini nakshatra brings a focus on healthcare, rejuvenation, and even agricultural or environmental concerns. The deities connected to this nakshatra are the Ashwini Kumaras, the Divine Physicians, which bring an emphasis on healing modalities, especially alternative and natural remedies to improve one’s health. Ashwini nakshatra is also about listening, so this is an especially important period to be introspect and pay attention to your inner voice, as well as being open to what others are saying to you.

Eclipses have a spiritual connotation and can awaken us to our greater potential. They are points of change and offer us insights into our own evolution. During eclipses, things unknown to us can be brought into the light, giving us greater insight. If any challenges or delays surface around the eclipses, a positive remedy is to be generous and focus on others. In Vedic culture, eclipses are not considered good times for material activities, but instead a period to do inner work. Consider activities that stabilize the mind such as meditation, yoga, mantra, or prayer in a peaceful, natural environment.

Vedic Astrology Report for March 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

On March 1 and 2, exalted Venus conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces, a generous and highly spiritual combination. Venus remains in its favorable sign of Pisces until March 12 when it enters Aries. Venus in Aries is influenced by both Rahu and Saturn, indicating a time to bring more authenticity and patience into our relationships. Also on March 12 Mars enters the air sign of Gemini, generating passionate thinking, as well as a critical mind. On March 15 Mercury is combust the Sun as it enters Pisces, its weakest sign, a time to be clear in communications. Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces on March 28, a time of higher learning and deeper understanding.

Venus, planet of love, relationships, and finance, has been transiting its exalted sign of Pisces since February 15, and remains in Pisces until March 12, 2023. On March 1 and 2, 2023, Venus is conjunct Jupiter at 17 and 18 degrees, and with both planets well-placed in Pisces, this combination is quite creative, idealistic, and generous.  Both Venus and Jupiter are interested in social concerns and humanitarian causes. Sometimes the Venus and Jupiter conjunction can bring over-indulgence or financial extravagance. Let the Venus-Jupiter combination increase the much-needed higher expression of unconditional, spiritual love in our world.

On March 9, Venus reaches its exaltation degree of 27 degrees Pisces, which amplifies compassion, inspiration, sensitivity, creativity, and romance. But be aware that Venus in Pisces can also increase romantic illusion too, and its good to use some discernment in love and have proper boundaries.

As Venus ends its transit and enters Aries, it travels through the gandanta degrees of 29 Pisces to 0 Aries from March 11 to 12, a time to let go of old patterns and past relationship burdens, in order to express a more expansive, unconditional love in all aspects of your life.

Venus enters the fire sign of Aries on March 12 and remains there until the evening of April 5, 2023. Venus in the Mars-ruled sign of Aries is passionate, adventuresome, impulsive, and even competitive. While in Aries, Venus will be somewhat afflicted as it will be conjunct Rahu in Aries, and aspected by Saturn in Aquarius, and both can be challenging aspects.

On March 17, Saturn aspects Venus exactly at 7 degrees, and we can experience a ripening of emotional restrictions or feel undervalued. This is a time to realize that personal comfort and self-nurturance is important and needed in our lives to feel more whole. On a higher note, Saturn aspecting Venus can bring maturity and commitment in relationships, along with greater realism and authenticity.

On March 20, Venus conjuncts Rahu, the north node, exactly at 10 degrees Aries. Venus and Rahu together can bring an urgency and compulsion with relationships as Rahu wants excitement and doesn’t always think of the consequences of its actions. We may also want more space and independence in love. As Venus also rules finances, it’s a good time to not overspend and be mindful. Venus and Rahu also can be quite creative and alternative, so this can be a good time for artistic, innovative projects.

Mars moves to the air sign of Gemini from March 12 to May 10, 2023, after being in the sign of Taurus since August 11, 2022. Mars in this Mercury-ruled sign gives an assertive and sharp mind, but sometimes is impulsive, headstrong, and confrontational. Mars in Gemini needs proper mental stimulation, that generates new and interesting ideas. Watch for speaking before thinking and being too critical. Beliefs and opinions can be challenged. The Mars in Gemini transit is helped by practices that calm the mind, such as meditation, retreat, and pranayama.

On March 15, 2023, Mercury, planet of communications, transits the water sign of Pisces until March 31, 2023, a very short stay. Mercury is debilitated or weakened in the sign of Pisces. However, there is some reversal of Mercury’s debility, as Mercury conjuncts Jupiter, the ruler of Pisces.  Mercury in Pisces can increase our mental sensitivity and visionary qualities.

When Mercury first enters Pisces it travels very close to the Sun, and will be combust the Sun within 5 degrees, from March 15 through March 22. This is a time to be careful with all communications, and be as clear as possible to avoid misunderstandings. Pay attention to details and really listen to what others are saying, and not make quick assumptions.

Mercury and Jupiter will exactly conjunct at 24 degrees Pisces on March 28, 2023. Jupiter, planet of spirituality and divine grace, is very well-placed in inspirational Pisces, a sign it rules. As Mercury and Jupiter are both educational planets and are transiting the otherworldly, spiritual sign of Pisces, we want to understand and integrate higher philosophical and transcendental concepts and teachings.

Vedic Astrology Report for February 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

In February we begin to sense the impact of Saturn transiting its new sign of Aquarius. Mid-month the Sun joins Saturn in Aquarius with an emphasis on letting go of power struggles and creating spiritual community with others. On February 15, Venus enters Pisces its exalted sign and travels with Jupiter there, amplifying creativity and learning. At the end of February, Mercury transits Aquarius and joins Saturn with a focus on serious conversations.

Saturn, planet of focus and discipline, entered the fixed air sign of Aquarius with intensity in January. Now in February we begin to sense the impact this major two-year transit will have in our lives as Saturn slowly begins to stabilize as it moves more fully into the sign Aquarius. Saturn in the fixed sign of Aquarius helps us to focus on our vision of the future, and how our actions can benefit humanity. In general, our personal concerns are less important than the welfare of the whole. As Saturn is in a fixed air sign, we have to watch for a tendency to hold onto rigid opinions that are not easy to change.

The Sun enters Aquarius from February 12 through March 14, 2023, and joins Saturn there. The Sun and Saturn are not the best of friends, so there can be challenges with leaders or authority figures. Saturn will be traveling extra close to the Sun especially from February 13 to February 22, with the exact conjunction occurring on February 16 at 3 degrees Aquarius. When Saturn is combust the Sun we may find that truth and fairness may be in short supply. Make efforts to practice greater neutrality and equanimity in order to help correct and harmonize these imbalances of power. Be respectful of others and connect to your own inner authority for answers that open you to greater spiritual growth. The Saturn/Sun connection can create pressures with our career and we may overwork. Take personal time for inner reflection and rest.

Venus, planet of love, healing, and the arts, enters its exalted sign of Pisces on February 15, 2023 and remains there until the evening of March 11, 2023. Venus in Pisces generates greater compassion, peace, and kindness in our world, as we become more sensitive to the suffering and challenges we see all around us. We enjoy being more creative as Venus rules beauty and all types of artistic expression. Devotional practices and working with the heart chakra are highlighted as Venus rules the path of Bhakti Yoga. This is a time for self-love, healing, and gratitude while surrounding yourself with people who love and respect you.

Venus will be joining Jupiter in Pisces, and both planets are favorably placed in this sign. Venus is exalted in Pisces and Jupiter is in a sign it rules. These two planets will conjunct at 17 degrees Pisces on March 1, 2023. Jupiter and Venus are the two teacher planets (Jupiter is the teacher of the gods, and Venus is the teacher of the demons in Vedic mythology), so this combination brings opportunities to expand our knowledge from two different perspectives or levels of awareness. Maybe Venus and Jupiter can create greater diplomacy and less polarity in our world.

Mercury, planet of communications, enters Aquarius at the end of the month on February 27, where it joins Saturn, with the exact conjunction occurring on March 2, 2023 at 5 degrees Aquarius. The Saturn and Mercury conjunction enhances our concentration and we have greater mental discipline and stamina. Be clear and authentic with your communications and business dealings. Watch for any mental stubbornness or avoidance of sensitive feelings. This a good period for deep meditation practices, as we contemplate our place in the world.

Vedic Astrology Report for January 2023

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

This new year brings some very impactful and powerful events, especially from January 12 to 18, 2023. Mars, planet of action, goes direct on January 12, 2023, having been retrograde since the end of last October. On January 17, 2023, Saturn, planet of discipline and focus, changes signs and moves from Capricorn to Aquarius. Whenever Saturn, the slowest moving planet, changes signs, it is a major transit and now Aquarius significations will be emphasized for several years. Mercury, planet of communications, goes direct on January 18, 2023.

Mars, planet of action and assertiveness, has been retrograde since October 30, 2022, and now goes direct on January 12, 2023 at 13 degrees Taurus. As Mars slowly moves forward, it will remain in the sign of Taurus until March 12, 2023. When Mars is retrograde, it’s a great time to review your past actions, motivations, and compulsions. Hopefully, during the Mars retrograde phase, we learned how to respond to difficult circumstances without doing harm. Now as Mars goes direct, projects and plans can begin to move ahead, as our frustrations start to dissolve, and our enthusiasm returns.

We are inspired and determined to put our energies into stimulating and positive goals.
This most significant astrological event in January is Saturn changing signs, moving from the earth sign of Capricorn to the air sign of Aquarius on January 17, 2023. Saturn has been in Capricorn for about three years, since January 23, 2020. Saturn averages 2 ½ to 3 years to complete its transit through a sign, and now the fixed sign of Aquarius is highlighted as Saturn will remain there until March 29, 2025. Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, but Aquarius is its moolatrikona sign, which makes this transit comfortable for Saturn, and may give more favorable results.

Saturn is a planet that requires truth, authenticity, discipline, and neutrality. Effort, hard work, and service are required with Saturn. We need order, stability and a strong foundation with Saturn. As Saturn transits are long, patience and perseverance are also needed to do well.

Saturn transiting the progressive, alternative sign of Aquarius can bring great interest and innovation in science, technology, metaphysics, or humanitarian concerns. Aquarius is a community-oriented sign, so families, organizations, global concerns, and even group consciousness may be a major focus. Saturn in Aquarius motivates us to come together with others to inspire and express our creative energies for the greater good.

As Aquarius is a fixed air sign, Saturn transiting this sign can make us headstrong and frustrated, becoming more set in our beliefs as we refuse to change. Learn to be more accepting and flexible with new ideas and possibilities, be open to honest change, and let your heart lead. Be present, mindful, and kind, while letting go of the superficial in life. Take quiet time to meditate or commune with nature.

If your Ascendant is Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, or Scorpio, this transit of Saturn through Aquarius is especially impactful for you as it creates a transiting Shasha Yoga, that requires a positive expression of Saturn’s highest energies. Let Saturn help you with detachment, peacefulness, equanimity and greater insight into life.

Mercury, planet of communications and the intellect, has been retrograde since December 29, 2022, and remains retrograde until January 18, 2022. Use these first few weeks of January as a time of deep reflection and review of the past year. Take some time to assess what you’ve learned and carefully consider your intentions for 2023. After Mercury goes direct at 13 degrees Sagittarius on January 18, it’s a better time to clear up any miscommunications you may have experienced with others during Mercury retrograde, as now you can observe past situations with a greater understanding and mental clarity.

Vedic Astrology Report for December 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

December is always a significant month of introspection, letting go, and rebirth. Mars, planet of action, is retrograde all month, and aspects the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. The Sun transits the pivotal gandanta degrees of Scorpio and Sagittarius, followed by the winter solstice on December 21, 2022, creating an opening for deeper self-awareness and change. Saturn is completing its three-year transit through the sign of Capricorn. Mercury goes retrograde at the end of December, a time of review.

Mars is retrograde the entire month of December in the fixed sign of Taurus and goes direct on January 12, 2023. While Mars is retrograde it influences the signs of Leo, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. If you have planets located in any of these signs, you will be more affected by the Mars retrograde energies. This means that things may be stirred up or don’t move forward as planned. Let go of living your life as a reaction to the external stimulus that we all experience in modern life. Hopefully, we are learning to deal with our frustrations and inner conflicts in a more enlightened way, with grace and an open heart. Access your inner courage and put your energies into life-giving actions.

Mars retrograde aspects the Sun, Mercury, and Venus this month. On December 7, Mars retrograde in Taurus will oppose the Sun in Scorpio at 21 degrees. As both Mars and the Sun are in fixed signs, watch for increased stubbornness or feeling that you are at war with yourself. Use this fiery combination to uncover a greater sense of inner courage and esteem.

Next, Mars retrograde aspects Mercury at 19 degrees in Sagittarius on December 15, indicating a time to be more discerning in conversation, communications, and travel. We may be more critical, or quick to take offense, so practice calmness. On December 19, Mars retrograde aspects Venus, planet of relationships, at 17 degrees Sagittarius, that brings passionate energy, but can also bring unexpected frustrations with others if our needs are not met.

The Sun takes its yearly journey through the gandanta degrees of 29 degrees Scorpio and 0 degrees Sagittarius on December 15 and 16, 2022, which is always followed by the winter solstice on December 21. This is a time to let go of “old karmas” or misunderstandings and embrace a new, and more evolved outlook in our world. The winter solstice is a wonderful time of renewal and regeneration during this sacred time of year. Connect with family and friends and express your gratitude and generosity.

Take some quiet time to set meaningful intentions for the coming new year.
Saturn, the slowest moving planet, is ready to shift signs next month on Jan 12, 2023. This month while Saturn finishes its final weeks in the sign of Capricorn that began on January 23, 2020, consider how you have integrated the lessons of this major transit in the past three years. Saturn is a planet of truth, discipline, and neutrality, and while in the earth sign of Capricorn, we have all gone through major difficulties that have demanded effort, hard work, practicality, and focus. Have you also incorporated the higher aspects of Saturn that brings deeper insights into your life, along with the qualities of equanimity and inner stability?

At the end of the month Mercury goes retrograde at 0 degrees Capricorn on December 29, 2022 until January 18, 2023. Mercury is retrograde in Capricorn only a day, then moves back to the sign of Sagittarius on December 30, 2022, where it retrogrades from 29 degrees to 13 degrees of Sagittarius. Mercury retrograde is a time to be mindful and clear with your words, what you put in writing, and with any travel plans. As this Mercury retrograde period begins at the end of the year, this is a great time for reflection, introspection, and meditation.

Vedic Astrology Report for November 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

November heralds some very significant and intense astrological events this month. Mars, planet of action and passion, recently turned retrograde at 1 degree Gemini on October 30. Now we begin to feel the impact of this retrograde motion in November. Mars will eventually move back from the air sign of Gemini, to the fixed sign of Taurus on November 13. We experience a very critical total lunar eclipse on November 8, which is the date of the U.S. mid-term elections.  Jupiter, the great benefic, goes direct on November 23 at 4 degrees Pisces.

Retrograde Mars occurs once every two years, and this important shift just began October 30, 2022 and will end on January 12, 2023. While Mars, planet of energy, assertiveness, action, and anger is retrograde, we are asked to examine how we deal with inner conflicts and frustrations. Mars retrograde can amplify inner tensions, anger, and passive-aggressive tendencies. This is a time to do your inner work. Review past actions and results to determine if you are asserting yourself in productive and life-affirming directions. Confront your inner fears and frustrations and don’t live in the past. Slowly and courageously move forward through any self-imposed limitations.

During Mars retrograde we can feel tired and lethargic, or can feel restless and indecisive, as these Mars energies may not be consistent, and frequently can be out-of-balance. We may need to unplug from the internet and our devices occasionally to decrease excessive mental/emotional stimulus in order to achieve some sense of neutrality, peace, and calm. Mars retrograde can also bring a passionate inner intensity that needs a proper creative outlet. Ask yourself what is important to you and what are you good at? Be patient and acknowledge how powerful you are, and adjust and direct these energies into more positive, new, uplifting expressions.

A total lunar eclipse occurs on November 8, 2022 around 4 AM MST. This eclipse is at 21 degrees Aries in the nakshatra of Bharani. Bharani is considered a fierce nakshatra and generates a type of life, death, rebirth energy. We may be ending one phase of life, and beginning a new one, so this eclipse carries an intense, transformative energy. The deity of Bharani is Yama, the lord of death and king of justice, indicating a deep purifying expression. Self-discipline, patience, and true understanding are qualities required at this time, as Bharani nakshatra is also called “the star of restraint.”

As this eclipse occurs at a full Moon, the Moon will be at 21 degrees Aries conjunct Rahu, the north node of the Moon, while the Sun is in the opposite sign of Libra at 21 degrees conjunct Ketu, the south node of the Moon. Mercury, planet of communications, will also at 21 degrees of Libra and is combust the Sun. So during this eclipse and even several days either side of November 8, be extra careful in your communications with others, or with any business transactions written or verbal, as there can be misunderstandings or feelings arise around not being heard or seen clearly. Discernment, objectivity, and good boundaries are needed with Mercury so close to the Sun. Tempers may flair and confrontations increase with the Moon closely conjunct Rahu in fiery Aries during this eclipse. This is a major period to be mindful, present, and peaceful.

Eclipses are points of change with increased awareness, offering us visions into our own evolution. They carry a spiritual connotation, and can awaken us to our greater potential if we choose. Meditation, retreat, yoga, and contemplative practices that stabilize the mind are remedies for eclipses. Things we have previously ignored, now come to light for us to address or understand. Ultimately, eclipses can help us to face the unknown and hidden, giving us needed insights in order to make more conscious and intelligent choices.

On November 13, 2022, retrograde Mars shifts signs, and moves back to the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus, and remains there until next spring, March 12, 2023. Mars retrograde in Taurus can bring up inner conflict concerning actions we have taken in the past concerning our finances and values or with our intimate relationships. Let go of any frustrations, and use this time of review to gain insight on how to make any internal corrections for the future.

Jupiter, the great benefic planet, goes direct at 4 degrees Pisces on November 23, 2022, having been retrograde since July 28, 2022. Jupiter energies now begin to move forward. Jupiter in Pisces is highly spiritual, sensitive and compassionate, generating deeper understanding of life. Expansive Jupiter now directs its energies into the outer world and this is a time we are motivated to be more generous and giving to those in need.

Vedic Astrology Report for October 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

At the beginning of October, Mercury turns direct on October 2, 2022, and we slowly move forward with greater clarity and better communications. Mid-month, Venus, planet of relationships, transits its own sign of Libra on October 19, 2022, where it joins the south node Ketu, increasing our focus on spiritual love. The last week of October brings more impactful and significant astrological events, with the start of the fall eclipse season, beginning with a solar eclipse on October 25, 2022.  Then on October 30, 2022, Mars, planet of action, goes retrograde on October 30, 2022 through January 12, 2023, creating some reversals and increased frustrations.

Mercury, planet of communications and our intellect, goes direct at 0 degrees Virgo on October 2, having been retrograde since September 9, 2022. As Mercury slowly begins to more forward, it brings more mental clarity and awareness, and the ability to be more objective and discerning as Mercury moves through its most favored sign of Virgo. Educational pursuits are also favored while Mercury remains in Virgo until October 26, 2022.

Venus, planet of relationships, love, and finance, begins its transit through its own sign of Libra from October 19 until November 11, 2022. Venus will join Ketu, the south node of the Moon, in Libra, which increases our sensitivity and vulnerability in relationships. On a higher level, we can experience a deeper desire for spiritual love and happiness. As Ketu rules enlightenment and the spiritual realms, and Venus rules love relationships, our interactions with others become the vehicle for awakening our hearts with compassion for ourselves and our world. The challenges with Venus/Ketu energies are fear of rejection or confusion in relationships. Venus also rules finances, so we should be extra careful and clear in financial dealings during this transit. Venus and Ketu will conjunct exactly at the beginning of November.

The intense and powerful events in October begin with the start of the fall eclipse season. The first eclipse of the pair, is a solar eclipse that occurs on October 25, 2022 at 3:48 AM PDT, at 7 degrees Libra in the nakshatra of Swati. The second eclipse, occurs two weeks later on November 8, 2022, and is a total lunar eclipse at 21 degrees Aries in the nakshatra of Bharani.

During the October 25 solar eclipse in Libra, the Sun is debilitated, and Venus will be combust the Sun, which gives some challenge. Eclipses can bring revelations, the potential for change, and increased awareness.  With Venus involved with this solar eclipse, it gives rise to themes around self-love and our ability to open our hearts with others. Relationship issues can surface in order to be healed. Anything that is not of unconditional love must be released. Other possible topics that can surface with this October 25 eclipse are women’s rights, the role of leaders, global warming, and finances.

As this solar eclipse on October 25 occurs in the nakshatra of Swati, which rules the wind and has a scattering effect, it is wise to be mentally focused and grounded especially around this eclipse period. In Vedic culture, eclipses are not considered good days for mundane activities, as the energies can be unstable. Instead, eclipses are days for spiritual expressions, and are positive for meditation, going within, and being in peaceful environments.

The last significant astrological event this month occurs on October 30, 2022 when Mars, planet of action, energy, assertiveness, and courage, goes retrograde until January 12, 2023, through the rest of this year. Mars turns retrograde at 1 degree Gemini on October 30 and eventually will transit back into the sign of Taurus on November 13, 2022, and remains in that sign for the rest of the time it is retrograde. When Mars is retrograde, we can experience possible conflicts, reversals, and misplaced energies. This transit tests our inner strength and courage, and requires we go within to find our real power and support. Mars retrograde can bring delays or restrictions, so during this period we must be more disciplined, attentive, and patient with ourselves in order to move forward and progress. Otherwise, we become less motivated to act at the appropriate time or we can feel out of sync in our environment.

The forward-moving and action-oriented Mars now feels “held back” by being retrograde, and eventually, frustrations and angry feelings can easily increase. Watch for heightened sensitivity and becoming easily provoked by others. This is not a time to lose our equilibrium or see life through the lens of fear, so stay calm and be neutral in your interactions with others. Think before you act and before making important decisions, especially if you are experiencing amplified emotions. This is a time to live your life with greater integrity and grace.

Upayes or remedial measures can be used to help mitigate and transmute some of the challenges we might experience with Mars retrograde. As activity is important to Mars, it responds well to energetic and physical disciplines such as yoga, tai chi, chi gong, and even body work and massage. Taking a conflict resolution course is another positive expression. Mars also is uplifted by being of service or working as an advocate to help those in need.

Nostradamus Predicted the Queen Elizabeth’s Death in 2022 & a ‘Great Uprising’ Against King Charles III

Source: The People’s Voice

A series of chilling predictions by Nostradamus about the Queen’s death in 2022 – and the sudden abdication of King Charles III – have been uncovered.

The French astrologer and seer has attracted international notoriety for predicting future events such as the 9/11 Twin Towers attacks, the Iraq War, the death of Princess Diana and the coronavirus pandemic.

Now passages published by Nostradamus in 1555 show his insights into the “Abdication of Charles III of England” following the death of the Queen.

For the year 2022, the seer’s revelations included the start of a new world war, the farewell of a queen, a global shake-up, with natural events, which will trigger worldwide chaos and power struggles, as well as the fall of a meteorite, an economic collapse and earthquakes.

In 2019 alone, Nostradamus predicted the fire that razed the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and predicted that during 2020, commercial space travel would be possible, something that the Space X company ventured into.

According to Nostradamus, King Charles will be forced out by the British public after they decide he is “unworthy”, leading to an unexpected man being named as the new king.

“A man, who, later, they considered unworthy.

“The people will force out the King of the Islands.

“A man will replace him who never expected to be king.”

Author Mario Reading, a leading expert on Nostradamus, deciphered more of the astrologer’s predictions on the subject in his book: Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies For The Future.

In it, Reading explains that Nostradamus successfully predicted that the Queen would die in 2022.

“This quatrain will come as no surprise to the British people and it has wide implications,” Reading wrote.

“The preamble is that Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around ninety-six, five years sort of her mother’s term of life.

“Prince Charles will be crowned in her stead, and become ‘King of the Islands’, the implication here being that he is no longer king of the other regions in the world over which his mother reigned – Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. – which will have, in the interim, become republics.”

According to Nostradamus, Charles’ reign will be brief and utterly disastrous. His subjects, the British people, will rise up against him, furious with his betrayal of the British nation.

Could Nostradamus be referring to Charles’ close friendship with Klaus Schwab and his allegiance to the World Economic Forum? Charles has already sworn allegiance to the globalist WEF, signalling that the Great Reset is his number one priority, which places the sovereignty of his nation in peril.

Then again, Nostradamus could be referring to Charles’ close friendship with Jimmy Savile, Britain’s most prolific pedophile.

There are plenty of reasons why the British people could be set to rise up against Charles III. Don’t forget his role in the tragic death of Princess Diana, the young and beautiful wife he was determined to cast aside.

Charles’ shady past should come as no surprise. Britain and the Commonwealth now have a sovereign who is descended Dracula, the tyrant who dipped his bread in the blood of his impaled victims.

So perhaps it’s not surprising that Charles is close friends with Klaus Schwab, the globalist overlord, whose plans for autocratic enslavement of the human race represent a modern version of the tyrant Vlad Dracula’s extremely violent style of rule.

Nostradamus goes on to claim that the public’s ongoing anger towards Charles is so great that when his agenda is revealed, he will be forced to abdicate. Reading explains:

“The pressure on him is so great, and his age so much against him, that Charles agrees to abdicate in favor of his son.

“The question is, which son? For in the last line Nostradamus makes it very clear that ‘a man will replace him who never expected to be king’.

“Does that mean that Prince William, who would have expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture?

This would mean that woke Prince Harry, favorite of the World Economic Forum, becomes king in his stead? That would make him King Henry IX, aged just 38.

The predictions have created a storm online, prompting many to claim the global elite are manufacturing a situation in which Harry and his wife Meghan become King and Queen consort of England.

If Nostradamus is correct and Charles is forced to abdicate, something strange happens to William’s line, and Harry is crowned King, then it will be as clear as day that Klaus Schwab and the WEF have infiltrated every government and institution on Earth and the globalist’s dream of a one-world government will have arrived.

Vedic Astrology Report for September 2022

vedic astrology May 2015

By Debra Infante

In September, Mars transits the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus the entire month, and brings greater patience and the desire for creativity. Mercury, planet of communications, transits its exalted sign of Virgo, goes retrograde on September 9, and is combust the Sun later in the month. Venus joins Mercury in Virgo on September 24, and gives us opportunities to overcome perfectionism and find common ground with others.

Mars transits the fixed earth sign of Taurus all month, which makes us more determined, purposeful, and sometimes more stubborn. We are driven more by financial concerns and uncovering our true values with Mars in the Venus-ruled sign of Taurus. We tend to be a little more patient in attaining our goals. We express our creative talents now with passion and spontaneity.

Mercury, planet of communications, intellect, media, and commerce, transits its exalted sign of Virgo the entire month of September, until October 26, 2022. In general, Mercury traveling through its favorite sign brings greater focus, perception, analytical ability, and efficiency. Mercury in Virgo is very positive for educational or writing pursuits. But in its extreme, Mercury exalted can be quite sensitive and perfectionistic, and prone to over-thinking and excessive worry.

However, Mercury will go retrograde at 14 degrees Virgo on September 9 until October 2, 2022. When retrograde, Mercury’s energies tend to be more internal or inward. During the retrograde phase, it is an excellent time to deepen your spiritual practices, especially with meditation or pranayama (breathwork). Mercury retrograde can be a time to review and make any needed adjustments to your daily routine and schedule that supports your energy now. We may also be guided to understand the workings of our mind, as we are learning to be more discerning and neutral with our thoughts.

Retrograde Mercury in Virgo exactly opposes retrograde Jupiter in Pisces at 10 degrees on September 18, 2022. As Mercury is exalted and Jupiter in its own sign, both being powerfully placed and both retrograde, this combination can be quite insightful. Any new trainings, seminars, or classes of a spiritual nature are highlighted.

The powerful Sun moves into the earth sign of Virgo from September 16 to October 17, 2022. Now Mercury is with the Sun in Virgo and travels especially close to the Sun from September 20 to 25, which is called combustion. The exact conjunction occurs at 6 degrees Virgo on September 22. Combustion of a retrograde Mercury can indicate issues with communications, computers, and travel plans.

Venus, planet of love, relationships, healing, and finance, transits its debilitated sign of Virgo on September 24 until October 18, 2022. Because Venus will join exalted Mercury in Virgo, Venus will have some reversal of its debility as it is with an exalted planet. In general, these two benefic and friendly planets together in Virgo are very creative and can amplify artistic expressions.  But as Venus is in its weaker sign and Mercury is retrograde and combust, watch for a tendency to seek approval rather than honestly speaking one’s mind.

On the positive side, Venus in the sensitive earth sign of Virgo increases our focus on natural and alternative healing modalities, growing our own food, and adopting a healthy diet. We want to protect nature and focus on environmental activism. Venus transiting Virgo is very service-oriented and dedicated to helping others.

In relationships, Venus in the Mercury-ruled sign of Virgo can give a tendency to mentally over-analyze rather than feel true emotions. Venus in Virgo gives us an opportunity to learn to be more vulnerable and less critical in relating to others. Especially from September 29 to October 17, 2022, Venus is traveling extra close to the Sun, and is combust, so this is a time to be more vigilant in all your relationships, and let go of impossible expectations with others. Connect honestly, heart to heart.  This is a time to choose love and compassion over doubt and fear.
